First off at the SU game? JSU made it to the game before SU and SU had their security and police to stop JSU at the gate and said MR Jackson was not going to allow JSU band in before SU band so they would not get crunk on like yall did all other bands in Mumford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Mean Really? lil on JSU would not be able to crank on SU!!!!!!!!!!

has anyone confirm because I heard BR police talking about this shit on the radio(walkie talkie) at the game and laughing at that shhh

Jstate did go in first, they delayed them at the gate because of all the moochers who were trying to enter that gate with the band... What game were you at?

Nope...that is a flat out lie. I was walkin around the stadium when the BOOM headed that way. I had to walk around the BOOM to get to the stadium but when I walked around them, they were already at the gate...they took my ticket, I went to the bathroom, looked at my seat...didn't want. Went to a diff seat...didn't want that either. Went to another seat that I preferred. Sat in that heat for about 10 more minutes and STILL no BOOM. They stood at that gate for a good 20 minutes. Security had stopped everyone following the band much further back because there was a gate way before you got to the gate the BOOM was going thru. Then SUs band conveniently comes in. :lol: The BOOM didn't come in until 1/3 to 1/2 of SUs band was in the stands.
 
91 knows what he is talking about dude... They have been having a problem with peope tailing in with the bands.. Because of something that happened earlier the band required extra security.. the normal security that would usually be at the gate to prevent folks from tailing in. So that was the reason yall had to wait for the "S" to enter...

OK. I won't claim to know the reason why but from what I saw, for the number of people able to get even close to the gate there were enough cops there to keep those few people back. ...Besides, the crowd was separted from the BOOM way waaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the entrance where the BOOM came in by another gate. They were not even asking people to get back. Security was just standing there waiting on a que it appeared. Seems to me like they were simply asked to hold the band up. Security never said a word to anyone from what I could tell. But I was not RIGHT there (becasue again) half of the BOOM was isolated from the crowd.

So personally, i don't buy what 91 is saying based on what I saw. But I also won't pretend to know the real deal either.

Oh and big ups to the Jukebox for beating up the Ques... :lol:

Not Travis Get your facts right another thing I was on HBCU until someone deleted and blocked me from the page because you could not handle me------

I WAS AT THE GAME AND I KNOW WHAT THE **** SECURITY SAID JUST REMEMBER NEXT YEAR IN MEMORIAL SU WILL NOT GET UNTIL GAME TIME I PROMISE YOU THAT MUCH!

Its Funny how the cheerleaders and band atlternatives and managers came in but when the boom played series it they got stopped at the gate and had to wait for 20 minutes before SU even marched in and then you batches openned the gate back up!!! notice I said all other band personnel came in and the BR police standing infront of section 5 which the band marched up said Mr J/Haymer said not to let the boom in because he was not going to allow JSU to play on SU marching in thir own stadium.


now you SU punks would say anything to save face!!!!!!!

Lost what? The football game yes......the band battle.........please. If you really think the crowd was entertained on both sides of the fan spectrum for you to claim a win then you are delusional. I actually feel bad for Dr. Liddell because he shouldn't have to be doing this right now in his life. My frat JState83 was correct when he said on TSPN back in the summer to prepare drilling to Get Ready every game. All this stand battle crap is for the birds. I need to see both bands do what they do at halftime.

If that's all folks were worried about is who got in the stadium first these days? I mean it aint like both bands are on top of each other to blow on each other while they march in or SU has a long way to go to get in the stands. It makes no sense. Maybe the cops just didn't want yall to come in first.

Who cares? And you don't control that. Both bands will be there a hour before the game just like they have for the last few years to entertain the fans. Who marches in first makes no difference. It aint that serious. If folks concentrated on field shows as they do worrying about who marches in first or these band stand battles before the game they would be better off. Do bands get a brownie point for getting in the stands first now? WTF is that.

Man I am so glad I marched when I did. We came late in the gate late on purpose sometimes. LOL. Oh well. It is what it is. Folks now worry about the wrong isht. Clean up your damn field shows people. It is a reason we are called MARCHING BANDS. Sheesh........ and that constitutes more than just marching in a fugging stadium first, last or whenever you get there. LOL.

I was going through the same gate with my Boom shirt on (10 min earlier than the Boom). A dude stopped me at the gate and said I needed to contact the band directors bcuz he was ordered to not let the Boom march in until the Jukebox marched in first. :lol:

you jstate dudes are killing me with this gate issue. if you guys were so concerned with the zero quarter then why did you drag it out with 7 horribly played marches. really screaming on purp carnival, and dont even get me started on storm and sunshine. but its all good...just keep walking chicken....you know the rest

The topic is label SU hiding the truths and its the principle of taking all that shhh about blowing on opposing bands that enter mumford and they were scared of JSU coming in and playing on them first now do you feel me DUMB ONE!

The same 7 marches that yall had to sit through and listen correct, I could not tell you what the hell yall played because you could only hear when you face JSU PERIOD same as other years there!

Ask all of the other bands yall blew on coming on which again YOU TRIED ON JSU is the purpose of holding them at the gate while your band marched in and attempt to set up, you should have seen su running to get in the stands since you was at the game to attempt to blow on state and it was an epic failure! CORRECT

Dude, the band didn't run to get in there. They took their time. They have a short distance anyway. The boom couldn't get to their spot faster than SU anyway. It's too far. I assume you realize the difference in distances. Not like the Juke marches in front of the vistors side anyway. You are crying about nothing. You need to tell the Boom to perfect their field show and stop practicing so much on gate entraces. Smh. New school, I tell ya. Worrying about who marched in first. WTF is that?
