I like that "Between the Sheets" Haymer did. EVERY section was well within a realistic range, so all the chords were so FAT, especially the tones he chose for the mellos. He has REALLY come into his own, while staying true to the SU arranging style. He is QUICKLY climbing to the top of my list of favorite arrangers.
 



JSU.... I will NEVER understand how you can be a Human Jukebox wanna-be, immitator and HATER all at once... Lawd-ham-MERCY, on y'alls poor, discombobulated souls. I guess THAT is why y'all can't find a definite "sound" or arranging style right now and for the past 8yrs: Can't decide if you wanna be us, or hate us.
 
Mustard...with me, Jax35 folks have to sign on to a trial-basis contract to talk arrangements (best example, T-Made). They gotta put more than a year's worth of credibility in posting before I even consider their opinion when it comes to arranging. Most of 'em wouldn't know a good arrangement if it bit them square in the arse and whispered sweet nothings in their ears.
 
The Jasmine Sullivan Tune is not to be F#cked with, the Best thing I've heard from them thus far this year. Not feeling that "Between the Sheets" it lacked that finesse and groove. The arrangement and execution was good.
 
loving the first tune. I think its called i thinks its love. Prolly should have just given the b-tones the melody on the 2nd tune. Overall good job juke. keep it up. Funny how you say SU sounded better durnig Greggs era. B/C he had nothing to do with arranging the last 10-15 years of his tenure. the same guys have been writing for the longest time. Haymer is the only addition to the team and he is doing an awesome job but hey you are entitled to your opinion. And Down!!!!
