I would love to see SU move to the Sun Belt. lmao Sike!!!!!!! Who ever win that conference go to the New Orleans Bowl.
 
right there this is a joke...Centenary is a D3 program...

but PV, TSU, Sam Houston, SFA, A&M-CC, UTSA, Lamar will merge....TV network, the Big Texan Network...

PV and TSU will move the LDC to Thanksgiving and pay NBC $3 million for that 1 p.m. CST slot...

Bruh GSU, JSU, SU are the faces of the SWAC winning or losing. That is fact. It will takes decades upon decades to erase that. Simply the truth.

again, not really...from a scheduling standpoint we (PV) could still schedule Grambling in Dallas as non-conference and not miss a beat financially....SU only comes to town ever other year but numbers are average anyway and JSU has never drawn well in texas

TSU wouldn't be hurt also...

Maybe Alcorn, Valley, etc. will feel the pain

I say SU, JSU, and GSU ditch the SWAC and let PV show us how self-sufficient them and the SWAC will be without the brand names of HBCU athletics.

Funny, how PV thinks they could replace GSU with some no-name schools and still sell-out the State Fair Classic. 1 championship and they think they UT or something.

That "brand names of HBCU" athletics shat means absolutely nothing to PVers and Texans in general. Infact, I'm sure if you took a poll most Panthers simply wouldn't care if the "Big 3" left as most have little interest in SU anyway. Of the three, Grambling is the most appealing because we do play a high profile game with them. However, Grambling is "new" at the SFC and they can be replaced. PV can bring UAPB or Langston and the SFC wouldnt miss a beat. JSU doesn't register in Texas at all so we wouldnt miss them either.

When it comes to Panthers we could play the State Fair Classic (because thats OUR tradition), tsu, and the FCS schools in Texas and be fine. So with that said, we support su,gsu,and jsu "ditching" the SWAC.:tup:

Louisiana College in Pineville would be a better fit than Centenary. They are the only non-D1 school in Louisiana with a complete sport package, including a football team.
 
If some teams are having issues meeting the SWAC fees, can they afford to pay the higher fees in the new conference?

Why do we have to continue playing this game of *****-see/*****-do?

Just because a few BCS teams changing leagues, folks getting all puffed up about what they school outta do. I just hope this mess ain't happening within the presidents' council. We need to learn from stable conferences like the Big Ten, SEC and Pac-10. They've been successful because they stuck together and worked for everybody's best interest.

One less learned from the Big XII is that a house divided cannot stand. Once it becomes every school for themselves, a conference won't succeed. Now if ya'll serious about moving up or moving out more power too you. Just make sure you gotta plan and stick with it. We've already seen two false starts with HBCUs in the last decade with FAMU and Winston-Salem. Ain't nothin worse than moving out on your own, and then having to turn around come back home and face the music.
