On another note, if you lose to that PV team, you should get fired. PV was the second worst team we have played this year. Its nothing to brag on, but PV had less that 70 yards of offense against JSU. If you lose to PV or if you only beat them by 3 points, SOMEBODY needs to get fired. GR thinks Graves is going to be let go and Pete will save his job.

Heck, Pete would have to fire Orlando and Graves to somewhat satisfy some Jag faithful. But that aint going to happen. Besides what coaches would take a job under a coach with just 1 year on his contract......well I guess if Bobby Bowden can fire his son finally then Pete can let some folks go........thinking to myself that Orlando is a FSU alum....wonder will Bobby take him.....:lol:

GR, unlike folks who have parades for winning the BC...........we don't get caught up like that. We have fired coaches before after winning the BC.......Gerald Kimble send help. Poor dude got fired immediately after the game in 91.:slap:

Remember how everybody wanted Joe Pa gone from Penn State. Just look at what he did last year. If Michigan had not cheated on Penn State, Penn State would have been in that championship game instead of USC. You guys are going to give pete another year. next year he is somehow going to turn that thing around and get you guys back to a 6-5 season. Of course you are going to have to schedule Allen Lincoln and Texas College....but at least its a start. dont fire Pete.....do right for a change.

GR, the schedule is already set with FAMU as one out of conference game and of course the 9 game SWAC schedule. So who else will we schedule to help Pete to a win......Hell he lost to NCCU and PV both D-2 programs....(Sorry P....but you are still PV dammitt).
Just face it GR......Pete's feet about to hit the street.......one thing about SU. Once they get a slogan for your departure going it is usually not long before you get canned......

But JR, you can do the right thing. Start an anti-slogan. Pete is you all's black Moses, so why do you want to throw him in the burning bush? You all have to understand that Pete's underground railroad to LSU has been shut down, but he's going to dig another trail. Just watch and see. Do right by Pete.

Beans Pete aint won with ex LSU players. Michael Hayes only won 1 title in 99 on a team that was strictly Pete players. Actually if you ask me we started having more issues when we allowed too many transfers. So the LSU pipeline thing don't work.

JR, it takes time to build another pipeline. Maybe the LSU thing didnt work, but he had just started a pipeline to Univ. of Texas with Victor Ike. Well, maybe not that one, but I'm sure he'll start another pipeline with some D1A school. Maybe he'll get some of those USC Trojans down there since Bush in now playin for the Saints. Just give Pete some more time.

Well, based on that he brought in quite a few this year, our record will be 7-4 after this weekend, we had quite a few HS recruits at the Southern and PV game.........let's see................carry the 1..................divide by 3/8.................add 2 to that figure.......
I'll say a handful is only need, but just in key spots like OL and DL. And for extra measures he can sprinkle in 1 or 2 DBs just for good measuers.
