Shid Frat, Houston to me is cheaper than Baton Rouge in some instances........plus if he went to PV then he be out there in Waller or some other country place by PV.

The attendance Saturday of 9,778 was the smallest home crowd of the Richardson era. It was also the smallest in A.W. Mumford Stadium since 5,290 saw the final home game of the Gerald Kimble era, a 56-20 win over Prairie View on Nov. 23, 1991.
The previous week, SU drew 21,742 for a 34-17 homecoming victory over Texas Southern. That?s a dropoff of 55 percent.

GR been told yall that Pete was pathetic. You guys have D2 talent at best. When the list came out of the top recuiting BCF in the country and SU wasnt on the top 10, yall should have had a problem with that. That means that Pete aint doing schit and it finally caught up with him.
But yall are stuck with him. And from the sounds of it, from what GR hears, Pete aint going nowhere soon. He is already talking about next spring. GR got word that a new contract is in the making.

Dude, you all are the "Nation". You take 30-40K on the road with you every game. You all lead the "Nation" in attendance every year and that is why they call you all the "Nation". Now, why is it that you all just brought out 9k for this game? Pete does not deserve this. He had your full support when you all was winning all those titles and BCF titles, but now you all want to jump off the ride cause it's not moving the way you all like. I really would like to email ole Pete all of your names that is so fickle, so when he does turn it back around he'll make sure that you all dont get a complimentary "2007 Return to Dominance Tour" tee shirt.

JR, tuff doesnt have anything to do with what you guys are trying to do to Pete. He took you all to the promiseland and now you all want to leave him on the mountain like Moses. That aint right man. See, I expected those true, baby blue Scotlandvillers to say something like that. Not from you. You understand the game. You understand the way the game is played. You understand that your players need new facilities and a better weightroom. That's something that you know Pete cant control, but those Scotlandvillers dont understand that. They just show up on Saturday evening with their liquor, guns and pom poms and expect the team to win every single time. They dont take in consideration the time and effort it takes for training and weight lifting. And I just didnt expect for you to jump on the "original" Scotlandvillers bandwagon of running Pete off. By you being old school, I know you know the history of the athletics so you can talk some sense into the others. Let them know that you have a few down years, but your good days out weight your bad days. So you all shouldnt complain. Sometimes your clouds hang low and you can barely see the road.

I am a Bobby Bowden fan and I think Fla State need to make a change there too. See where I am going with this. It comes a time when things are not working anymore. Is it all Pete's fault........no, not all of it. But it is time. Keeping Pete aint going to solve anything either. He knew this was his last contract with SU in the first place. So what is the big deal? You guys fired Hughes and he had a better record those last few years than Pete has had the last 2. The only thing yall did wrong was ............let your AD hire the coach with no checks and balances. That will not happen at SU because we have a board that controls things. We will be fine after Pete leaves. We know how to hire coaches. See......Sandy Pugh and Spivery. Even ole Grant was average. LOL.

You see JR, that is what I'm talking about. You brought up the point of us firing Hughes. You all should learn from our mistakes. Not saying that we shouldnt have fired Hughes, but at that time there wasnt that many apples on the tree to choose from. And the ones that look nice to the eye evidently had worms in them. Right now, there's not that many apples left on the tree and that is why you all should renew Pete's contract for another 3 years. That way 3 years from now Pete could "officially" retire as a Jaguar and go into the Jaguar Hall of Fame as being you all's "Winning Coach of All-time" and there may be more ripe fruit on the tree by then.
What you all are doing just isnt right. Pete's a senior citizen and deserves to be treated with respect. Tossin the man 2 years after winning you all a Championship and a BCF Title just isnt right. I'm telling you JR, this is something that will come back to haunt you guys. Do tha right thing, man. Do tha right thing.
