SU APR Situation

Damn, some of y'all are trying to create a controversy. :smh:

No controversy C-Leb. Just don't understand why JSU feels like they have been mistreated more than anybody else in the SWAC. And the thing is, the Presidents/Chancellor control the SWAC Commish. All venom any of us have should be directed to our respective campus leader for letting anything happen that WE alums think is unfair. If nothing happens or we don't see our leader stand up for us then we know that they ain't the one to lead or they feel like the treatment is fair. That's all any of us can ask for. None of us posters have a vote to do anything to control this conference.

From what I've been told, the university got the okay from the NCAA on track and field. Now they await word on men's and women's basketball from the NCAA. SU has met all deadlines set forth by the NCAA.

So are you saying the y'all are banned again for the same stuff? Nothing more?

Let me take a stab at this ...
NO ... it isn't for current APR statistics
YES ... The data in question comes from the time period we had APR bans in football and men's basketball. The Advocate's coverage of the situation has pretty much jives with what I've been told.

If the Queen is so convincing and hates the SWAC direction then why don't she raise hell with the SWAC other Presidents. You never hear her PUBLICLY going off even in a professional manner.

I am sure there is penalty for speaking out. Even with the APR issue, she couldn't say anything. I am not even sure if she spoke about the GSU issue but she was very vocal with the alumni.
..and she has class. She knows how to handle things and it's not through the media.

Yall kill me playing dumb when ish flips on yall...like now all of a sudden you do not know what we are talking about lol ok. You do not have the answers SU

I'm sure this APR stuff would have a school leaving the conference sooner then we think.

They are seriously considering jumping off the edge of a cliff or killing themselves because of OUR issue with paperwork. lmao

ok, i can see how these can become smack threads. with folks taking their time on time sensitive items, things can gets interesting.
is there a deadline to turning in your papers, or are yall just going to wait until the last minute to turn it in and hope NCAA doesn't want additional time to review it before lifting the ban? i'll just expect this will be submitted by tournament weekend.

Maybe the league presidents are testing how serious they are about leaving the conference. The biggest question I have is where do they go?

All deadlines set by the NCAA have been met so far. The NCAA was satisfied with the data for track and field. Now Southern is awaiting a decision on men's and women's basketball
