stu, rumor is...

Man, su hasn't come in numbers to Houston in eons.
Come on dude.... SU has not lost in Houston since 2011, ironically in Delmar stadium.

Even with the last couple of slip ups, your teams have not been worthy of the full JAG Nation in quite some time.

Anyway... since UH and Rice have home games, your logical choices are Lamar (Beaumont) or Mumford.

Ninja puhleeze

TSU.... Why not move the game to BR so JAGS can go back to alternating road trips for PV and TSU like the good ole days.

I can talk to our AD if needed.

This does need to happen but you also would need some other West teams to switch their games too, to keep the 4 home and 4 away games on everyone's schedule.

Oh, I did not know that. Interesting

We're the home team in the Bayou Classic so that game, Alcorn, BCC and UAPB gives us 4 SWAC home games in 2026.

Didn’t Andrew body b … nevermind brother. Gone head ima stay out of grown folk business. 😂

No argument here..... not surprised if our AD messed this up after the Arlington contract ended. Many of our fans questioned why TSU was not the home team in 2023 when the series ended.
It got messed up way before that

Looks like TSU is trying to move the SU game to NRG. Game would also move from 10/17 to 10/24.

Very interesting revenue numbers for this game.

Projected Costs

  • Venue usage fee: $125,000
  • Estimated stadium expenses: $283,000
  • Estimated game day expenses: $92,000
  • Total estimated event cost: $500,000. The fiscal certification confirms that the cost will not exceed this amount.

Projected Revenue

  • Anticipated ticket sales: $450,000
  • Sponsorship revenue: $249,000
  • Total projected revenue: $699,000.

Projected Bottom Line

  • Net revenue after projected costs: $199,000.
