Po Miami. They already losing recruits to other schools after firing Shannon and now they are getting beat by the golden domers. This aint good. Al Golden has his work cut out for him. He may have just needed to stay at Temple until Joe Pa finally has to go. Dead or alive. I wish dude well at Miami. But it is going to be tough. Don't know how well Golden knows Miami and South Florida coaches. He did keep folks like Michael Barrow on the staff. So that might help. He will need to do like Snellenberger, Jimmy Johnson, Erickson. Go get him a QB from somewhere outside of Florida. LOL. Kelly, Kosar, Testaverde, Walsh and others send help. Maybe since Golden is from PA he will get another Western PA Qb like Kelly or one from Ohio like Kosar. Then they wouldn't shrivel up everytime they play a bowl game under 50 degrees. Wisconsin whooped their arse last year because it was "cold" in that bowl game. Now Notre Dame takes them to the woodshed. Jacory Harris is horrible. I remember some folks thought he was better than Pryor. LOL. Pryor aint never look this bad. Not even in his Freshman year.

Miami is in trouble long-term. Their facilities aren't great, and in addition to UF and FSU, they have to compete with emerging UCF and USF programs. Look at how many coaches turned down or expressed no interest in the job. Golden, like a lot of other coaches, just grew tired of waiting on a job he wasn't guaranteed to get.
 
The problem with Canes for last two season is playcalling by Mark Whipple...

Harris is going excel next season in East Coast offense..

I don't think that kid will be the QB. You could tell Golden was dismayed in the booth tonight when they interviewed him. Harris is not his recruit. Wouldn't shock me if he went with someone else next season.

Harris hasn't progressed at all. Even as a three year starter he's still making freshman type mistakes. You're right that him being the starter next year is anything but a certainty. I wouldn't be shocked to see him transferring down to an FCS school for his senior year.

That is exactly what I said and I really blame that on Shannon because I thought that he may do a lot of things Coker wasn't doing (they stunk) but as soon as he got there they were average at best for all 4 years and Harris never progressed which I thought was odd. Plus I think that Shannon wanted to go with his style of play instead of the system that Coker did and I think Coker was a better recruiter because the players were a lot better and you can tell that they spent a lot of time in the weight room where as Shannon wasn't pushing them which is highly unlike the UM teams of previous years.
