Um actually GR, I wasn't coming to the rescue of anyone. Southern University certainly doesn't need me to speak up for them. I wasn't smacking because I don't smack, but I was making an observation which you and a few others helped to prove my point. So thank you, GR. :swink:

And since you brought up my school, UAPB is relevant to the only person that matters here and that's me. We stand alone, take our wins alone, take our beatings alone and keep it moving. So in the case of relevancy, again, you and a lot of others have made it clear who really is "relevant" around here. Another good point made by you, GR, thanks again. :swink:

Again, not coming to the rescue of anyone. I don't know why you and others took it to mean that, but if that's your perception, so be it. And don't take my silence to mean that I've run off. Like UAPB, I am here, and I'm not going anywhere. I know UAPB doesn't matter to the remaining 9 schools, so it doesn't matter what they say about my folks. It's the people who do matter that we pay mind to.

I don't bring the heat, nor do I run from it when it comes my way.

No, I didn't go to SU, but my child does, so it's natural that I take an interest in the school where she receives her education and also to the school that receives my money. I have shown and thrown support to all 10 schools in our conference.

Okay fellas, I know this is the Smack Board, but respectfully ask that you not disrespect or belittle my children. The comment about me sending her to Southern University to be "yella" wasn't called for. If you must smack, take it all out on me, because I will not take comments about either one of my children.

And yes, before you call me a sensitive *** or groupie, that is my child that was shown disrespect. It's one thing to smack, it another to be downright rude and disrespectful. Surely you can understand the sensitivity I have and will always have on that particular subject.

And I appreciate the prayers, Founder. Please include my children in them also.

SU folks are referred to as yellers all the time that I can recall. So if YOU bring up your children and the fact they attend SU? So why not leave your family off the smack board.
 
I'm new at this and don't understand or know the rules too well. I admit that. I just brought up my daughter's attendance at SU to state why I had a personal interest in the school. As I stated, I don't smack, so, yes I stink at this.

I will leave this to the men.......for now.
