My whole family is from Louisiana...dem is my roots. lol. My Dad's side is from Bogalusa, LA and my mom's side is from Angie, LA. What you know about that? lol. Most of my family members are Southernites, my mom and dad went against the grain. My mom finished from Grambling and my dad finished from Jackson State. We saw the light. lol. Do you know any folks from theBOG?

I have so many football, basketball, entertainment, and baseball legends within in me, it's ridiculous ....

I am the only place where you can be in one section of the state and have one culture, go past one city in the middle and step into a new world....

If you can't have a good time in me, you're dead ....

And last, but certainly not least, I am the home of the the most recognized HBCU institutions in this nation and you know you know me .....

Mike Espy is from the sipp also. He is a former congressman and as a matter of fact he was the first black congressman elected since reconstruction in the state of MS. He also served as Secretary of Agriculture under Clinton's administration until them ole fays tried to railroad him.

Actually, David Duke is originally from Okla. He was elected to the state house from a district in Metairie that at the time had a 94% white registered voters. While in office he served only one term and didn't pass any legislation. He is presently a fugative from justice, in exile in Russia.
