lol

Hey Noise Talka,
You can also add James Earl Jones, BB King , author John Grisham and Muppett's creator Jim Henson to Sip's list.

Say "Noise Talka," all of these people have one thing in common. They had to leave the Sip to achieve their greatness.

It's funny none of the people in these Pics claim MS. Elvis always said Memphis was home. Snoop only claims West Side. Favre really thinks he's a Mid-West boy. Brandi.............she doesn't even know. Well I guess you got Oprah. At least someone will admit it. LOL

You can also add McKinley Morganfield, better know as Muddy Waters, the blues great. He hailed from Hollandale, Washington County Mississippi......

The first prominent African-American Composer, William Grant Still. He composed the Afro-American Symphony........ He was born in Lowndes County Mississippi.....

Still thinking.............

Hmmmmm HERITAGE!

PROUD TO BE FROM MISSISSIPPI

I noticed something about you folks that ragged on our famous natives.....you didn't name yours. lol.

Seriously i wanted to see some smack from other states.

Mississippi has already represented in this thang...now WHAT.
lol

LOL@Robber pubbing his ownself.

Noise Talka,
You know we Sippians are going to represent.:D Add Secretary of Education Rod Paige and Opera great Leotyne Price. Also Payton is from Columbia, Ms and Favre from Kiln, Ms.

Sonic 98,
I don't know what you are saying but Brandy has always claimed the SIP. Now her brother may not remember. But I saw her on TV repping the SIP recently. Brett Favre never hides the fact either. He always mentions he has no idea how he can do so well in the cold being that he is from the Sip and that he plans to retire there. Even Elvis gave Tupelo props for his beginnings. I must admit I didn't know about Snoop. That's news to me.

Marion 'Suge' Knight has ties to Sharkey County Mississippi. His grandmother lives there.................His maternal grandmother....

In that case Taylor Made 90, we can add OJ Simpson. His Mom is from the Sip, also Isaih Thomas's Mom is from Vicksburg. We'll be here all day with people that have ties to the Sip. All you have to say is all of Chi-town. LOL

Since Robber is pubbing himself up. I'll list my fellow Jags who are from the Sip.

Myself(JR)- Jackson
ZNSPR8502- Liberty
Kellis- Greenwood
Diesel- (can't recall)

My state has hosted a Republican National Convention, The Pope, 9 Super Bowls, 3 Final Fours (with one on the way), a Women's Final Four, Muhammed Ali's heavyweight title fight in which he became the first man, to ever win the title on 3 separate occassions, and our Jazz Festival is world renowned, and if you're bored in the summer, The Essence Music Festival, is just what the doctor ordered.

Don't make me have to put this "Boot" in y'all arses again, but then again, they might, so don't piss them off:

I could name many well-known people with just a Memphis connection alone, and if I started on Nashville, I'd be here all day. I might reply later when I'm in the mood to list all these names and find pics.
