15,000 x $20 tickets = $300,000 paid attendance AT LEAST. Doesn't inlcude what we make off of tailgating/parking/concessions. We do better to bring in someone who is not going to ask for a gigantic pay day. That way we keep more of the profits from the game.
And keep in mind I said "AT LEAST" 15,000 attendance. Stillman will bring some fans, because this game is like their superbowl for the season. I know y'all ain't braggin' on having higher attendance than a school that hasn't been in D1 more than 10 years???? That's so smalltime of y'all.

Sure it would. But what does it matter? We won't benefit from them because we choose not to participate in the playoffs with the 1-AA teams that matter most. So, rank 3 of our teams in the top 16 so we can sit at home and watch lesser ranked teams on TV as they play for the championship.

Are we to believe that your AD (administration) budgeted based on Homecoming revenue of 15K? Of course not! Budgets are calculated using past year(s) numbers and projections that allow for ~5% up or down adjustments. You guys may not have been "broke" but your cash flow wasn't in line with estimates.
