Speed Demons

MAXIMUS

In HIS name....
I can not seem to go the speed limit. It is too slow for me. If I try to go it, I feel like a turtle on the road. I ask GOD to help me in this area but I just can't slow down. I thank GOD that I have not got a ticket over the last year. I am a speed demon. I need help.

Are there any other speed demons out there?

I enjoy speeding!

It was worth the 4hr downtime in jail (doing over 50+ miles over the posted speed limits). :emlaugh:

RECOVERING SPEED DEMON

Hi, my name is Astrya and I'm a recovering "Speed Demon".

Just a short while ago, I used to be a bonifide
card carrying member of the "NASCAR should
have been
a professional race driver club. :eek2:

I quit cold "stick shift" when I found out I was pregnant.
Hopefully my son will never know that his mother
was, in fact, a speed demon. Now when I'm driving
and the world is moving too slow for me....I just
put on some Lenny Kravitz and relax.

I took the "Knight Rider" themed ring tone off my phone.
Soon I will even retire (not sell... I can't do that) my precious
Trans Am-"Black Ice" for a more responsible car,
I'm considering an Altima.
:bawling:

MAXIMUS,
So, you see, reform is possible. Good luck My friend. :D

Storm, if you are getting the 2002 Altima, that only encourages speed!! I've heard you can be doing 90 and not know it.

I'm a big speed demon. I can remember getting home from Alcorn in an hour and a half. It's supposed to be a two and a half hour ride! I did 90 and up all the way!

I'm a speedaholic and I love it!

I do know when and when not to speed.

I Rattlerstrike, am a speed demon

I was pulled last thursday going 85 in a 60 that was turning into a 55. by a FHP (Florida Highway Patrolman)

Please help me!!!:(

That speed man, it be calling me. I can't help it man. I can smell the tires smoking. Listen, can't you hear that 70 mph sign laughing at me? Please, somebody get me some 94 octane. Please!

In denial

It's not my fault I speed. In fact I'm not going too fast at all everyone else is just going to slow. Ya know when the sun hits that sign just right that 65 can be mistaken for 85. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

FRIENDLY ADVICE.....

....if you ever get pulled-over on the highway, tell the officer somebody 5 miles down the road pulled a gun out on'you and you got'da "L" own.:lmao:

I am recovering Speed Demon. I once got 6 tickets in one month. Then I recieved a letter from the state of Arkansas, saying 'Driving is a Privilege, Not a Right'.

That was six years ago, I've managed to only get one ticket since then, but that 1996 Lexus GS300 just rides SOO SMOOTH at 100mph.

You need to slow that crap down, MAN!!

When you pay tickets, people (namely your wife) have to DO WITHOUT SOMETHING!

SLOW IT DOWN, SPERM! JUST SLOW IT DOWN!!

:D

My name is Blu and I'm a speed-a-holic. After I put a hit out on Louisiana's state troopers, I knew it had gone too far. *sniff* Ticket after ticket *snif*, but I couldn't slow down. 55mph just wasn't enough...I had to have more...I had to have more!!!

My radar detector WAS my saving grace. Then some asshole stole it. So now I only do like 10 over the speed limit. Still bad, but I used to be terrible. I need a new detector :(

I got one of them letters two days before I was driving to Miami from my hometown. Told me that if I got one more ticket within the next few months, my driving privileges would be revoked. I did 90 all the way to Miami.

I ain't no damn speedaholic. Speedaholics have to go to them damn meetings.:D If a cop pulls me over. Give me the ticket and move on. Don't lecture me. I'm a grown arse man. Well, if you just gonna warn me, a lecture is cool. But if you're writing that ticket and talking, I will tell you I got places to go so you need to just write the ticket and let me go.

I can understand going 55 m.p.h. inside the 610 loop in Houston. But going 55 in places like Waller County is a joke. I have not been on I-10 between Beaumont and Houston in over 12 months. But I will bet that driving on that stretch in interstate will be a slow and painful experience for people like me.

When I am within the city limits, I usually drive the speed limit, especially in college towns like Bryan/College Station, Prairie View, and Fort Valley, GA. But on the highway it is a different story, especially out west in states like Texas and New Mexico. I have gone 90 to 95 and was not the fastest person on the highway.

Back to the drawing boards

Maybe I need a slow azz sport utility vehicle

Wow, CD! You dug deep for this thread! I wonder how some of those folk are doing. I was just in court Tuesday for this problem. I hadn't been caught been caught in over 7 years before that ticket. :shame:
