Spaghetti Sauce

From scratch: 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can tomato paste, 1 can of water for each can, onions, garlic, green onions, bell pepper, seasoning (tony chachere's), & a spaghetti sauce seasoning pack

I brown the ground meat first with the onions, garlic, green onions, & bell pepper. Then I add the tomato sauce, paste, water, and seasoning pack. Season to taste with tony chachere's.

Almost the same except for the spaghetti sauce seasoning pack and Tony's. I put italian seasoning blend, chili powder, seasoning salt and black pepper.

No one has mentioned Rosemary.
Never considered it for spaghetti sauce. But give me some chicken and I will hook it up with rosemary and thyme.

Without starting a new thread (hi-jacking this one), what y'all know about corriander seasoning???

I cook spaghetti from scratch too, but will in a crunch pull out the Prego and JUICE it up with my own seasonings.

I use basil and oregano too. And FRESH garlic, onion, bell pepper! Y'all making me hungry with these food threads.

rosemary is good on chicken....

What do you do with Coriander Mike Rob? YOUR red beans are pretty good.
I use coriander on pork chops, when I'm not frying them.

Thanks on the red beans. They're better now.

There's not much hot food that I don't put Tony Chachere on. It's a must have ingredient. They even have it at some Subways to go on yo sam-mitch. :D

Do you folks use wheat or white pasta? I only use wheat.
I use the cheapest one...I don't get all off, into pastas and such. Not much of a pasta lover. I just buy the wal-mart (great value) brand. :D

Try it with Whole Wheat Spaghetti Pasta it's pretty good. I'm a health food freak. I only eat wheat products now.
