Jr....the Katy isd address is a fraud as it's the same folks out there who grew up nearby in alief or comes from a small town so PV is on their radar....Morton ranch, mayde creek, etc is nothing special and the cheap housing shows so they'll come to PV in a heartbeat if wanted.....even went in and got a Katy high lineman as all it takes is a campus visit and parents feeling comfortable

The cinco and seven lakes kid grew up in a different environment but you can get them if you recruit them.....we got two cross country kids from cinco as folks think they are untouchable...you would be surprised on how easy it is

Southern's field had brown and dead spots on it when we played them on 10/17. Even the HSRN commentators were talking about how bad it was...

Dude you do know we've own yall 3 str8 times and coming into the season, yall were speaking on this and that about yall team smh, miss me with the whole JSU being down, yall coaches are the ones down. When will yall beat us again?
PV was owned last year with FRs and walk-ons off the street, and escaped this year which they feel proudly beating us smh, but little do they know, they'll be at home once again in Dec. smh, that win did nothing for them. They'll be at home.
Everybody else we beat we dayum near put 50 points on them LOL, which could have been more. We could have gotten 70 in 2 games this year, one of those games were against yall goofies

Gram. (haha) when was the last time they lead against SU LMAO

SU did no maintenance on the field because it was suppose to be replaced. Due to construction delays(High River) the project was delayed.
 
I watched that game on CSTV last night and that field was in horrific shape. Big crater sized mud holes all over the place. That field always handles water badly. Every Swac school should have Field Turf.

It isn't bad because of the type of turf it has. It is bad because of poor drainage design.

TP always tries to play the down year card once they start losing. He was here since last season talking about how good jsu would be THIS SEASON
 
I wouldn't say it is a talent issue, but I will say the DC's scheme doesn't fit what Alcorn and PV does. You have to be discipline to play defense against that type of offensive scheme. Who has the Dive? Who has the QB? Who is reading the option? Who has the motion man -Man vs Cov 3 vs Cov 1 on that in case he pulls it and hits the pass. You have to be very discipline and trust your teammates have their assignment and that isn't what happened from what I'm hearing.

I see what you did there B ... well played sir. (Although I despise high-stakes testing in any states, but that's a topic switch)...

Maybe I'm late to the party on this, but I believe the Mumford and Tiger stadium comparison was a geographical and geological problem. Due to their locations in proximity to the Mississippi River, along with the type of soil the campuses and stadiums sit atop (and how close they stadiums are to the water table, yaddah yaddah), more attention has to be paid attention to the playing surfaces of both. Obviously LSU takes far better care of the field at Tiger Stadium than we have done at Mumford. However, after monsoons like the ones we saw recently ... anybody's grass field would have turned to a mosh pit. In our case, our mosh pit was easier to make.

As for Southern having "eroded" talent ... can't believe y'all took the bait. Y'all should've known it was BS by the name of the person who started the thread. Should've had the good sense (R.I.P. Robber) to just keep it moving. But nooooooooooooo, we're four pages deep.
