I watched that game Monday 😆. I'm surprised the only new starter they have is the kicker. Definitely could of went after some receivers and a QB. Skelton was Troy's biggest weapon 😆

Amazing that his passing ability hasn't increased w/ his starts in the SWAC and OOC. Who is his QB coach the last 3 years? Man...

Should've sent him to the Tom Brady Passing Academy. :(
 



I agree with all of the above......very astute. We need drastic improvement at the QB position. The talent level is enough to compete at the FCS level. We will be positively heard from in the SWAC.

SU's OL is TOPS and the BEST in the SWAC, imho. Its DL and DBs are TOPS in the SWAC, imho.

Having a QB who is staring down a receiver and then can visibly see a DB breaking on his forthcoming pass and STILL throws the pass is mind boggling. smh

As soon as them NFL scouts said they were looking at Skelton as an RB/WR ... or last year ... they should've moved him from the QB spot LOL

He seriously reminds me of another guy who was an all-state tx QB and he transitioned to WR @ 'Zona State. Elusive, speedy, hella' fast but really was an athlete playing QB. He was drafted by the Bengals 4th round, blah blah blah.
 
We all see it, WHY don't SU staff. He has proven he will make costly mistakes that will keep SU in the same b.s. that happen under Odums.

Is SU really going to risk moving him now???
 



Hell i would start Lampley and put Skelton at wr slot receiver. But troy is legit! They probably will win there conference. In this game all i was looking at was our o line and d line and i was impressed.
 
Not so fast! We are measuring skelton against good FBS competition not against FCS/SWAC competition. In SWAC, I think he will be fantastic. Just remember you heard it here first, Skelton will lead the Jaguars to the SWAC championship.
