Thanks to the TSU move, Southern will finish the regular season with four straight games away from Baton Rouge, starting with an Oct. 31 trip to Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

This pretty much sums up my feelings about this.
 
“We’re sensitive to the fact that this game will come right after the Bayou Classic, and we realize it could jeopardize attendance,â€￾ McClelland said. “But we feel the financial payout would compensate for the individuals who would decide not to make that trip. We also know there’s a large Southern contingent in Houston, and we’ll try to appeal to them.â€￾

McClelland said TSU will look into cutting ticket prices, as well, although it hasn’t yet determined the site for the Southern game.

Once again, we don't care about fans, just the money. 85% chance that both bands won't be in attendance, and 98.5% chance that the Jukebox won't be in attendance. This game won't get the band fans to come out either.

In this case, I don't blame Pete.
He should have been speaking out about some of the scheduling before this.
Why play a game after your BIGGEST event of the year end.

If SU get to the SCG, that means NO REST for the team and 3 or 4 str8 weeks of traveling for the fans.:shame:
