But those same guys put 729 yards last year on SU so talent is not an issue...

The 1,000 yard rusher is out with an acl..top wideout tore acl, starting defensive end broke leg, etc and that was before a snap happened in training camp...backup qb who torched su in 2012 is not playing this year also so depth is an issue

Campus wise...PV hands down in the SWAC as the school has benefited from louisiana and mississippi alums sending their kids there for instate tuition..thanks

SWAC schools are not much of an issue in recruiting even with the bad stadium....the Sam Houston's, sfas kill you with the white is right spill to our own and their easy majors such as general studies to maneuver around apr....if you plan on winning big you gotta beat them in recruiting and learn how they use loopholes to get recruits in from big schools

It is a few alums from Sip and LA at PV. Let's not make it seem like it is in the Thousands or something. LOL. Most of my Texas SU alums kids I know either to SU or a non HBCU period. Plus those kids do not have to pay out of state tuition if their parents know what they are doing. LOL. It's a hold bunch of Jags on this board who kids are at SU. Houston is STILL SU WEST. Don't you forget it. LOL. Working in Texas has nothing to do with school loyalty. LSU folks live in Houston to. More than us. But they still ain't sending their kids to Texas A&M. LOL. Actually Ole Piss offers Texas kids a full ride and no out of state fees for certain programs. My VP sent both of his kids to Ole Piss. All this out of state tuition isht is fastly coming to an end. Schools are getting creative to steal your kids.

I am sure the same for JSU folks too.

yep, you don't pay Out of state fees at JSU if you major in STEM field, if your parents or spouse are military, if you are a supportive alum, have 25+ on ACT, and one or two other things... lol

Exactly. You know the deal. Ways around that out of state fee. Lazy parents or kids just not wanting to go where their parent or parents went is really the deal. TBF acts like every alum of SWAC schools that live and work in Texas HAVE to send their kids to in state schools like they can't afford to go to their alma maters. LOL. Ran into one of my homeboys who is a JSU alum in Texas and his kid is heading JSU next year. Kid ain't even thinking about PV or TxSU.

That game last season was before SU defense found it's identity. I know we aren't comparing players that's not playing lol. You realize SU is missing 20 plus players lol.
PV was beat by freshmen and walkons soundly, and you say talent isn't the issue lol. Ok. But who has PV beat for recruits lol.

That was the guy with the bullhorn sitting on the east side of the stadium behind your team.

You should have given me a holla Frat......

nah......i know kenny's voice from that bullhorn......he's more of a shyt talker....call out the refs....clown the players type of guy than a chant starter
