Don't come in here lying. SU did not outnumber PV fans. PV fans certainly need to do better staying engaged once momentum shifts. Anyway Congrats su.

See, since we bashed your heads in you don't want us to do well. We represented well in Jackson last year with a lot of fans and if we make it back, we will do the same. You need to look at your own fans that don't go to the orange heatbox for their own games.

PV AD got some work to do! They need to completely upgrade the athletic culture there asap. PV got school spirit but they sholl the hell don't have gameday spirit ... two different things. I heard TAMU required all freshmen to attend at least 1 football game for years

And I know SU has a big alumni presence in Houston but it's not bigger than PV

That would help to explain why there were only 700 in attendance last year for a home game against MVSU, after having clinched the Western D ivision crown. I believe it played a part in Dooley's decision to leave for SU. It had to be disheartening for a coach and players to look up and see a paltry 700 fans in attendance for a conference game just after your team had won the division title and earned a spot in the championship game.

Be careful! You'll get death threats from them!!! They said it was Thanksgiving weekend and it was raining 40 days straight leading up to that game!!!!

Ya'll have waaayy better football facilities, more students living on campus, and a better football record compared to us ... I would hope ya'll can show out more than TSU giving all that but ya'll barely are. I'm not hating b/c I know we're a better basketball school, I'm making an observation and even offered advice to ya'll AD so things can get better at PV. I watched a video earlier of a PV alum complaining about the embarassing lackluster support system from PV fans ... it probably demoralized ya'll team. Houston is the absolute worst city for college athletics to be fair tho ... UH and RIce also have lackluster fan support compared to their conference schools.

I saw there was a shooting Saturday night in the City of Prairie View independent of the university (no different than shootings in the 3rd ward of Houston without affiliation to TSU). My hope is that it’s not any students who were shot.
 
Well... the truth about the melee' comes out. Spit in the face my ass. SU players were jumping up and down, stomping, & spitting on the midfield logo of our football field, which triggered our student-athletes. I sincerely hope they hand out those warranted suspensions precisely.

Pure SU class(lessness). 👍🏿

they were never rabid to begin with - cutting the program and enduring an 80-game streak from 1988-1998 pretty much made every student on that campus during that time give a rats azz about football - those folks are now aged 42-55 and prime donation candidates so if they don't care that's the problem

I never saw them on Midfield. I was in the stadium when the fight happened. Where did you get this info?

A. Our defense realized if they play smarter, things can work.
B. Against PV...su seems to have found a rhythm on offense they haven't had since...the beginning of the season? Unfamiliarity with the playbook being one that makes sense, is what I'm gathering. Maybe Dooley at this game and against UAPB got them to have confidence in gameplans none of them really knew.
I don't think it will eke a win against you all tbh but SU could surprise everybody.
