Lol Coach Prime should be humble now for sure. My bad for forgetting Southern is on a 8 game winning streak against JSU. Man y’all tale that L and relax. Prime must don’t know all the SWAC legends that have got drafted. Everything he talking about doing has and still is being done. Kid from Grambling is gonna be on a NFL Roster. Kid from Bama State got drafted 1st round. That DB#4 folks really act like he was really committed to UGA in reality he wasn’t gonna qualify to be eligible for the big boys. Armstead is a legend that has won a lot of games with the Saints. He can win the press conference and beat Edward Waters Odums knew what he was gonna do.

I have cleaned purchased and preseason my new electric smoker, Master Built with the window, and planning to smoke some wings and tailgate in the garage. I did all my house chores this past weekend, (again). I have my tickets purchased just paid my Hulu bill so espn is not a problem. We need this. You have one job. Just do it. As a competitor, I always felt that kneeling to end a game is more embarrassing than putting up 40 points on the goal line. Although, Prime will get better talent on the D-line, I am not seeing championship schemes from Thurman.

Overall run blocking is very underrated under Odums. Even in Fobbs’s championship years, which feels like decades ago in Grambling, SU has been able run. I really liked the dominant O-line play staying on blocks. They were nasty, where SU really did not have to pass. That was very dominant win Jags and repped the Boot.

Fobbs will have to take a note from Pete the Great notebook in preparing against a highly favored BC opponent. Nobody did it better than Pete in beating a highly favored Grambling squad. Looking forward for Fobbs returning the favor in Shreveport.

I think folks thought since he had NFL background that he could run the Swac. It’s easy to coach the best players in the world versus having to develop players. I think Southern has to improve on the O. Line but yesterday looked like a step forward for them up front. Fobbs could be sitting back in the cut on ambush mode for the Bayou classic. I also think Fobbs is gonna shake some trees in the off season. It’s a contract year for him.

This could be a trap game of us. There is nothing more dangerous than a team like a prideful JSU that started off the season on fire and now dropped a few games in a row. JSU is wounded; however, I think the pride will set in and they will be ready. I would rather had played Bama State first and then JSU. If we get caught looking ahead to the Magic City Classic, we could be in trouble in Jackson....Got to be focused...

Trust me, the footbal team is not looking ahead to MCC. They just hope to play a game this weekend.

No one w/ good sense overhyped JSU and I wouldn't label them as sorry but rather label them as gaining traction in learning, especially during losses. The handwriting was on the wall and even JSUers w/ good intelligent sense visibly saw what was what on the field, still evident from recent prior years.

They rose slightly above their recent norms, w/ the same exact talent and a differing coaching staff attempting to change the same guys minds so their body would follow. It's an uphill journey, w/ what they have at their disposal this spring season.

The JSU team we saw/see this spring will NOT be the same team we will see this fall season. Don't let the spring marketing and branding machine fool you. In games which JSU won, there was STILL remedial stupid "SWAC" bs still occurring.
