I guess that 139 y’all had against us padded our stats as well oh and FYI SU a D1 program with scholarships had only 77 more yards than LC a D3 school with no scholarships as you say buddy!!!!!!!!

When Valley had the 4th ranked defense in FCS in 2012, it was because when you hold 2-3 teams to single digits it helps. Alcorn held THREE teams to single digits. The same number as your point total against Alcorn
Valley scored 20 (THREE TDs) on Alcorn (after getting shut out the previous year). Your team never found the end zone.

We played Alcorn in the rain, without Skelton, and they scored only once offensively (I think).

My take on the SCG is these are two different teams than who met on 09/29/2018. I believe both teams have improved and have added a few wrinkles to what they do as well as honed what was done well previously. You can throw out what happened in game 1. With an outright conference title on the line, we'll see what happens. You can look at previous stats or common opponents and I still don't believe one will get definitive answers until the game is played.
Why not buy your ticket anyway just to support the team representing the Swac?

SU made wholesale changes after that game. Odums let the more talented younger players play. I can’t wait until Saturday. We had players running free. We won’t have homecoming to effect us this time.

We folks in the SWAC and MEAC should really challenge ourselves to think about the bigger picture as it relates to supporting our schools and our conferences. It is such a blessing for HBCUs to be able to play in football domes in cities like New Orleans, Houston, and Atlanta. So, when we (any school) get an opportunity to play, we should all support them even if it's not the school we attended. In other words, we should stop these "LAME" and "SHALLOW" comments about the chances of rain and what these ghosts people are saying on FB about not wanting to travel because of a particular school is playing or not playing. At the end of the day, the world is observing how little support we give to each other when other schools show up with greater attendees and play in the snow. Either go to the game or stay home. But let's not discourage others from going for reasons that really don't matter.

Um.........this argument means nothing. Arkansas scored 31 points against Alabama while Miss. State got shut out. Miss. State turned around and beat the mess out of Arkansas. And while you're at it, our defense surrendered only 1 offensive TD against Alcorn.

Hey SU folks, is it just me or were those number hard as hell to read on the uniform color combination. The Columbia Blue is a great look, but the gold numbers on the jerseys don't work. You might want to tell Under Armour to make the numbers white.

I hate our numbers. They need to be bigger in a different style or font. Outline or something. That’s on every color jersey.
