Have to limit our mistakes if we want to win the title. The high snap, the fumble, and the countless crucial penalties kept Grambling in the game. I was very impressed with how our team responded when Grambling got within 3 points. That drive was a great answer and shut the door on them.

Also........I believe that Jordan Lewis was robbed of that forced fumble at the end. That was a fumble. lol

The SWAC and Black folks in general were crapped on big time. Another fine example that real power is saving and controlling the cash flow of money, not spending a lot of money.

It's not just Birmingham, but Birmingham is a prime example of how much leverage Black people really have. New Orleans started doing more to keep the Bayou Classic once Houston put in a bid for the game.

The SWAC should use Southern and Grambling and the Bayou Classic as a means of leveraging a nice incentive package from New Orleans. Cities like New Orleans and Houston already have in place the mechanisms to generate huge tourist dollars. These are big sport/convention cities. If one would have noticed the New Orleans advertisement during the Bayou Classic, it was mainly about its tourist industry and how it ties into its popular restaurants. We need to learn how to funnel some of that money back into our universities. And with Democatic Governor John bel Edwards in office, who is pro-higher education, now might be a good time to do such, since the Superdome is owned by the State of Louisiana along with the Convention Center.
