And let’s not forget they were still the same team that went 1-7 in the division with Hunter, Williams, and Rogers and had players transfer out before he came and went 6-2 with the same players the next year, beat the SWAC champions and was a few inches short of having a chance to beat SU and go to the championship game. Hell Saban and Alabama don’t always play the best games and they win and no one questions them. Fobbs and staff aren’t machines who can make the best calls every play but if they were so bad than why can’t anyone beat them including the best team from the MEAC last year. Everyone says he rides on talent but he was doing great before the transfers came and he puts together great teams and builds his players into great young men. I just don’t get what more he needs to do. Turning an 1 win team into what he has and winning the Celebration Bowl is outstanding. Guess haters gonna hate.
 
Fobbs has done a Great job. He aint Perfect but his system works. We are very young at wr and Chad and Verlan caught those same balls last year for big yardage that We dropped today. Our offense does break rhythm at times with questionable calls but We have players who can make up for that.

People often misunderstand the value of having a Deep Threat Wr who can separate and make the big catches. Its sorta like the 3 point shooter in basketball nowadays. Its more valuable and paid more attention to than the rb who can run for 3-5yds. One pass can result in a TD that can blow a game wide open. We don't bave that Deep Threat yet.

Su played Us hard today. Hats off to them.

GSU and SU fans both find time to complain about the coaching staffs. My SU family and friends, (and I have too many of them), all complain about the inconsistency of their coordinators and decision making of Odums. My Gramfam and Gramlinites hate Dooley's read option decisions, and Todd's defensive decisions on 3rd and long. Both have flaws, but they know how to win games.

At the end of the, we are all blessed to be in a weak conference where teams lose to division II programs every so often, and also blessed to be in the talented state of Louisiana. GSU's quick turnaround and SU's ability to be a consistent contender despite sanctions confirms this.

Instead of being real about the game and sayin SU had us whopped, ppl wanna reach and talk about irrelevant stuff about nothing.

That game was a hot mess, SU had the game in the dayum bag and ppl wanna sit up here and be on that tip about how GSU is this and that. FOH.

Over-rated ass team to the fullest. SU with trash ass coaching should have won the game point blank.

Ok, now I agreed with a lot of what you had to say about both coaching staffs, but now you are just being a hater. SU could have done more, and GSU damn sure could have done more as well. At the end, GSU did a little more to win. That "whopped" bull blank is just ignorant as blank. Shockingly, you are one of the few SU powder blues who are acting as if SU was really a better football that could have put it on GSU. That's actually funny because GSU (who isn't what they were last season) actually looked more impressive than SU this year and has a better overall record for a reason. Most SU fans knew that the Jags would have to reach deep in order to "upset" the G-Men.

You are really hurt about falling/failing in the Bayou Classic and I understand, but your being a GSU hater about the deal is a disgrace to both blanking schools. I felt GSU should have blasted the sissies in 98, 99 and 14. We could have given a bunch of woulda coulda shoulda stories, but GSU folks are men about it. We took the heartbreaks and rooted for our southern cousins and bothers in the post season instead of being haters. Chill the blank out and take in on the chin.

Bro, GSU wasn't impressive to me at all. Bro, I had my doubts about going into this game but when I saw how SU could hang with GSU with both of yall dudes in the game, there was no doubt in my mind we could win the game. As I state yall being up 0-14 and the way yall got those points were on some pure lucky crap. I still believe as I stated SU was in the game if the coaching staff made a few adjustments on defense. There was a 3rd and 15 or 13 and yall completed a 30 yard play down the middle against our zone defense which led to points, when on the 1st 2 downs, #4 was stopped for a lose when we sent a blitz and played man 2 man, and then your QB was dropped for a no gain or sack when we again sent a blitz and played man to man coverage. So how the hell am I being a hater? We had yall down in spite of all the things I mentioned happened and should have won the game. If SU stops yall on 3rd down with 3 mins left and we get a 1st down, yall had 1 T.O. more than likely we win the game, in that position that is what you call having someone whooped. Let's not hide behind this "hater" word and use it because I'm saying what I'm saying.

Austin Howard is the better QB outta the 2 IMO, Your QB, who can't pass when in the pocket all he has is speed over Austin. Number 4 is over-rated and SU had the lesser of talent outta the 2 teams and pure trash ass coaching staff decisions and we still should have won the game, How the hell I'm being a hater

I respect Austin Howard, ( I didn't in his previous years), but he is not better than Kincaid. Compare the scouting reports and what each has done in games vs defenses that were ranked in the 5. Kincaid throws a better ball on the run as well. All of Howard's picks in his Bayou Classic career came from horrific decisions. Howard had the better offensive line in the Bayou Classic and failed to use it to his advantage. Kincaid was under heat all evening and had to deal with WR's dropping 2 TD's and 5 first downs in the game. Those drops is what kept ya'll in the damn game.

Do we really need to post "lucky crap" stores of the Bayou Classic? SU has hundreds of those stories. See 98,99,00,04,07 for more details. Your "gave the game away" words are just insane. You had the lead 1 time and only for a few minutes! Yes, 14-0 and 17-3 are bigger margins. Gramblinites are pissed that we allowed ya'll to hang around by stalling with the read option up two scores. You were never up by more than 1 point because your players and staff couldn't go up by more!

Kincaid has an amazing SWAC record as a starter. Don't hate on the kid. The Jags had a good season, but lost to two SWAC teams that they weren't better than.

Austin did more with less this year than your QB my boy and he missed 2 games, what is you talking bout but again that's your opinion about your QB and as I stated mines, Austin to me, I'll take him any day over your QB and all this best offensive line, well that there, to me, is not true, I have my thoughts on that, as you and others may say otherwise but to me, that statement about the better Oline goes outta the window. Kincaid had times when he was in the pocket and didn't look impressive at all. Most of his better throws were on the run so again all of this talk is irrelevant when you and others should chart his passes in that game and see which ones made him standout.

I know my "lucky crap" will be applied to yall in 2017 since you wanna ask me to see those other years, So let me do this and stamp 2017 for GSU as one of those years we can hang up in the rafters as being a "lucky crap story"

Breh, you and folk from GSU act like I'm the only person that knows GSU is an over-rated ass team when many were saying that they were, ppl that weren't affiliated with neither school were saying this, some on here were saying it before the game, so now I say it and pin facts and have receipts to go with what I'm saying, now it's an issue, Man yall silly Lol. When the score was what it was and how they scored and how their offense looked 2 ppl, ppl at the game were saying how GSU was over-rated along with their QB and the number 4 dude. Ppl do understand football and know the difference between a hype'd team/players and those that are not. Their play-calling was trash and defense they played the whole game (base) and our coaches couldn't see this and attack it. As I stated earlier in my statements, both coaches are trash at this game here.
