Shocked at the final score.
My Lord... my sympathies to the family and friends. I can only imagine how the young men felt.In front of the team at dinner.
Tf? Carry onNo shock here. Southern has defeated only one team on it's schedule with a winning record and that team was Division II, Fort Valley State.![]()

HmmmmHe/she claims that they're not from jstate. Personally I think it's either jayrob or get ready with another account.
I agree. Our defense and our offensive play calling in this game left much to be desired. No shock here. Southern has defeated only one team on it's schedule with a winning record and that team was Division II, Fort Valley State.![]()
such a class act! Thanks. Finish strong this year.I've always believed that football is as much mental as it is physical. If you can get past the "demons" of past mistakes made on the field, and take on the mindset of a champion, you'll perform well, win or lose.
This past Saturday the Jags proved what I've believed to be true. I don't think any of our schools can say our football team has seen a team staff member alive one minute & dead the next, see their lifeless body right there in front of them......and then go play a football game less than 24 hours later.........and win that game!
I know SU holds their athletes & coaches to the utmost highest of standards on (and off) the field. We all do with our respective teams. But I commend those young men, not for winning, but for being mentally strong to simply perform. I can only imagine their thought process during the game. I commend Coach Odums for holding it together for his team during such a tragedy. It was a beautiful thing to see both teams in prayer together after the game.
Again, congratulations Southern. Job well done. Best wishes to you in the remaining season.
Yea true!! With some posters on here u have to b mentally tough. Because if some of this stuff was said to me face to face LORD it aint NO telling what i would do!Its mind boggling how this team had to encounter a staff passing on this road trip and yet we have some on here that gaf about our margin of victory and our w/l record vs teams over .500. Some of y'all are sickening af.
Exactly. I dgaf how bad they hate us. Some shit can be kept to themselves because a mouth can quickly write a damn checkYea true!! With some posters on here u have to b mentally tough. Because if some of this stuff was said to me face to face LORD it aint NO telling what i would do!
