Southern vs Alcorn State Game Updates: 2:00pm CT

One of the differences I observe in SU and Alcorn is QB development. Alcorn’s McNair is a former “Great” QB and can “teach” the position. Yesterday’s game was a microcosm of that as we saw Felix Harper play the position at a very high level. Great game Alcorn and we hope to have a return engagement!
I believe credit goes to Pat White as well. We may lose him after this season. He has shown he can develop QBs.

Well it's obvious about our quarterback" idc what nobody's says if he would of played up to pair the first half at FAMU, SU would have won that game.. It is to late in the season for him to be playing like this..

I know the feeling smh

In the 662 I can‘t believe the HC wasted a year on the RS QB. That was a terrible decision. He will need one full year to get jump started.

He is as good as gone. When you turn down ULL to play for Valley, get redshirted and then can't see the field because they wanna stick with a QB with a career completion % of around 47%, I throw my hands up on that situation (The RB Johnson (who turned down SC) also got redshirted and slowly has seen his carries increase starting with the Alcorn game).

As far as Southern is concerned, at least they are giving two QBs a look. With Skelton, there is a ceiling that I pointed out last year. He can run (same as our QB) but to get to the next level, McDaniel has to be that guy. Same thing with Grambling (although they do run it well). When you can get that QB who can throw for at least a 60% rate AND run like Harper, you stand a great chance of winning the SWAC

That's the strangest thing to me. Robinson should be getting playing time or starting at this point. Kid was a stud in high school and has the size and skill set to impact games. There is something there that isn't being talked about openly.

I have to agree with Braveman, something is not being said because it’s like the kid is being punished. I hope he does not leave because that hurts the program and the conference.

I don't know what it is either but trust me the coaching staff knows that the fan base is asking why. I just hope whatever trust they have gained this season isn't lost due to stubbornness

At least with Southern and JSU, they are using the 2 QB system in which one is clearly a better thrower and the other is a runner that can throw.
