Props to Alcorn State. Hard fought game. Go get that Celebration Bowl and bring it back to the SWAC!
 
The most consistent team in the SWAC with the best chance to beat A&T is going to ATL.

I hope so. A&T is physical also and can match the Braves. Both teams have the number 1 ranked defense against the run. Something is going to have to give!

This was a great match up and an excellent game and environment. Someone had to win the game. I take my hat off to both teams. This game showed what SWAC football is all about and was showcased on national television. Again, congratulation to Alcorn State with a hard fought victory. Props to both coaches for having their teams perform on the Big Stage.
 
My heart breaks for Jordan Lewis.

Majority of this Southern team comes back next season. We get all of our scholarships back. Got 8 or 9 seniors on the roster this season.

However, DC Trei Oliver might be headed to Durham to be NCCU head coach

Games like this back in the day is what made me a huge SWAC Fan!
 



Anybody, Somebody, please tell me,

Why do you continue to do things when they yield no positive results? On Defense, we sat our asses in that 4 down rush with 2 LBs look for forever in a day and got gashed, with our DBs lining 7 to 9 yards off their WRs, why,, we would one continue to sit in that defense?? They never punted when we gave them that look, we didn't blitz outta that look, so why do it yall?

We adjust, played press coverage, had our DBs up on the LOS and we blitz a LB from either side, and Alcorn punted the ball (went 3 and out) twice and we don't come back wit that look? What is going on man? Are we that ego driven that we want things to work how we think they should?? Alcorn gashed our base look and yet we still come out in it.

Odums can not and will not beat this team, nor will he understand our to beat a simple ass Cover 2, it's not that hard. We just, Idk, I'm done with the guy. Others may support him, but I've seen all that I've seen, this team won't excel, he can't stop a simple zone read.

Why are we so scared of blitzing a QB and living with our results. My dayum

No. They haven't consistently beaten all of us like they do southern. They literally own Mumford and Spinks no matter where the game is played.
We tried to tell yall, but yall kept saying that southern was a different team since yall last played Alcorn. The same outcome.
McNair's a far better coach than Odoms.
