Dude, I told you months ago that our second string could go 6-5 with our schedule. Let's just wait to have this convo after JSU has a few more games under our belts. The proof will be in the puddin!! :D

We could only put 13 on TNState because our coaches decided to play a dude who had only been in the system for 4-5 weeks because Jimmy missed a film session. Please don't get it twisted. Our back-up will be good soon since he getting a lot of reps (like he will when we blow SU out of Baton Rouge) but now that we have settled on a QB, it's lights out for the rest of you. We ran well vs. TnState. Our WRs and QB were just out of sync.
TNState raped your defense. Can you imagine how little they would have scored vs. JSU if our offense had Jimmy in there moving the ball. SU is in trouble man. Our secondary is a beast.

This fool keep talking about we didn't have Jimmy ..... you had Jimmy all last year after the SU game and what did he do?

BTW, we didn't have Gerard Landry and still racked up MORE points in the FIRST HALF against Tenn State that allowed you ONLY 13 in the WHOLE GAME. Now, if that don't make sense, then don't tell me no ish about "we didn't have Jimmy". Them tricks didn't step up period and beat a fumbling Tenn State team when they had their best chance in the last FIVE years. Keep worrying about us .... you better worry about Bama State. They are going to be pissed after we take care of them in Mobile.

Landry does not run your defense....oh and Jimmy smoked you last year. See when SU had us down last year, I told everyone around that all the defense had to do was shut you down (like they did all night) and let Jimmy go to work.

Southern 06 ..... check

But, Oliver doesn't run your D either and Delta State and Tenn. State still did enough to beat you. Shouldn't your defense have WON those games for you? I mean, surely, the Darkside should have intercepted balls and caused fumbles to make scores, right?

Do you realize that you have NOT scared anybody with that running game. Hell, you couldn't get it going against Texas Southern. See, y'all keep talking about your defense ..... but only a few of you are mentioning that offense. 50 points against Valley .... c'mon man, who you think you scaring with that? Everybody knows y'all got mind control over them.

And while we are on defense, you do realize that your defense is going to see something they did not see last year ..... a confident offense, with, barring injuries, a FULL complement of weapons, a starting QB, several RB's and a full complement of WR's. We saw what JSU has last year on offense .... only additions are Hull, non-catching Gray, and Giles. You BARELY beat a sub=par defense and if Breck Ackley doesn't kick the ball to the parking lot, you can't even speak to me man.

Urrahhh, he led the ENTIRE SWAC in total all purpose yards, that's what he did. He's on his way back to repeating that feat. Our offensive line is improving week by week, our defense can go 2-3 deep, so our players won't give out like they did last year. It's all about defense and it's all about improving week by week. JSU is doing that and the stats prove it.
