Smh. I'm talking about FAMU playing Miami for their first game in Sept. They aren't going to dump a very big pay day against Miami for a game with SU in the Meac Swac Challenge.

Its being reported that ESPN wants Miami and Florida St. to play on Labor Day. Plus the Marlins have a games that weekend so it was a conflict for Miami and Famu anyway. Go read Famu's forum on the tallehasse democrat.

Elvis Joseph is a hell of a RB coach. :tup: I remember the year our RB's had when he was coaching them. K. Addision went over a 1,000. That was the first time SU had a 1,000 rusher in years.

Good staff... lot's of pro experience except Dooley and Nivens who are good holdover choices. Man, O'Neil Gilbert has a helluva resume...didn't know yall had him.

Oh, okay... I have all are good men so that's a plus. No knock on the previous staff, but I think yall made a good hire. Time will tell how they jell and actually coach. We kinda like how things been going the past years, we ain't planning on letting things change.

Somebody had a good suggestion that PV and TxSU should move that game to later in the schedule and find another venue to play in. Make it a rivalry week type game.

We don't need to move that game back, it's good where it is now. We also don't need this game in Reliant, just got to find the right venue. I still say since Texas/Rice got Reliant on our traditional day that we need to take our game to San Antonio that weekend.
