Ain't no excuse. Lab way to talented to lose like this smh. Lab even though 1A is probably to 10 in the state talent wise.

WALKER — What was supposed to be a dream matchup of two title teams dissolved into a storm-laden nightmare for Southern Lab on Thursday night.

The Class 1A Kittens, playing for the first time since being stripped of Division IV select LHSAA titles in 2015-16 and a runner-up finish in 2014, fell behind early. Defending Division III champion Riverside Academy dominated in all phases of the game and ran away with a 54-0 victory at Walker High.

“When I dream, I don’t dream about outcomes, I dream about how well we can play,” Riverside coach Chris Lachney said. “We played very well against a very good football team. They’ve had some distractions over the last couple of weeks, but as I told our kids, that’s got nothing to do with us.

Wait let's be real...a LHSAA official told me this past Saturday that SU Lab was playing drop outs and guys that were 19 and 20 year olds...given that perspective were they really that good to begin with?

This is a question and not trying to be sarcastic. If you are playing ineligible players was the perspective of being good really true.
