Southern Cal or Notre Dame?

I don't think I've ever rooted for Notre Dame, but I actually want them to pull the upset and beat USC. Not because I don't like USC, but because if ND beats USc, then Texas becomes the new Number #1 team. And I want the 'winey orange' to be number one when thep play TexasTech...

I'm rooting for TT to throw all over Texas. The Red Raiders offense rang-up over 600 yards today.....

Uh, did I gte off the subject, or what??

The best game of the season just ended, Penn State vs Michigan. Dayum what a finish.

NICE

That game turned from a snoozer to an instant classic in one quarter. I can't believe they kicked off deep and let Breaston have a shot at a return. GO BLUE!!!! :flippy:

Yeah, you did, but USC played sloppy much of the game as well. That was a hell of an audible to make that pass on 4th and 9.

Man what a day of finishes, USC catching a huge break on that fumble going out of bounds, then the QB sneak that almost was stopped, unbelievable....

This is a good game! I hoped that ND would pull it out but it didn't turn out that way. There were a lot of good games today. ND/USC, Ole Miss/ Bama, LSU/FL.

What a damned finish!!! That throw to Jarrett on 4th down was the play of the game...There comes a point where talent overrules gameplan...Weis had everything going NDs way, but it was USC's talent in the end that pulled it out...

P.S.: This was the worst USC played all season...they ain't gonna play like it no more ....

Great Sat. in college football. Luck sided with USC today. They got lucky on that 4th down conversion and QB sneak. An amazing game...instant classic.

Whew...now, I can watch my Tigers play UAPBB on National T.V. and listen to JSU-SU game. What a day!

Did y'all believe that finish????

A SWAC Officiating crew would've never handled that right... They would've called TD when the ball got knocked from Leinart's hands....

Shame on you, that's not true at all. They would have made a bad call way before that which would have prevented that play from ever happening.....

At an instant in the heat of the moment and a big game, the Black official made the correct call. He did his job perfectly.

For right now I will let others make comments about SWAC refs.

Notre Dame outplayed USC all day, but like the national champions they are, USC found a way to win.

Reggie Bush is my pick for the 2005 Heisman Trophy!

Bush and Leinart are in a dead heat for the Heisman after today. Bush carried the team and kept them in the game, but Leinart made the 2 big plays at the end of the game to pull even with Bush. Leinart would have had a big day if his receivers would have been more consistent catching the ball. When its time for the voters to cast thier ballots they will look back at this game and the first two things they will think of are Leinart's 4th down completion to Jarrett and the fake spike/qb sneak. Bush had a great day but at the end of the day when the streak was on the line, the hands in possession of the ball in the end zone belonged to Leinart. I really don't know how I would vote if I had a ballot.
