The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announced Thursday that they have agreed to play future non-conference football games with Auburn and Southern University.
The Golden Eagles and Tigers are set for a pair of contests at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 29, 2018, and on Sept. 26, 2020. This will be the first meeting between the schools since Auburn collected a 27-13 home decision on Sept. 6, 2008.
Southern Miss and the Jaguars from Baton Rouge will play a single game Sept. 9, 2017, at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium. It marks the first meeting between the two schools in football.

Don't know what we're going to do about FAMU or adding Tennessee State...

Don't know whether the NCAA is going to let FCS play 12-game seasons from 2017 on out...

Let's say next season Southern plays all nine schools (only 7 games count toward standings) ...
UT-San Antonio and Southern Miss makes it 10 games...

If we get Tennessee State or FAMU in Mumford in 17 I'll be happy
 
SU gone beat USM. These were some bad deals on USM end but good for SU but I forgot big worm is still to beat Hopson so idk. This shows some of the character of Hopson to still believe in the talent in the SWAC. Nice move by both parties though.

Good looking out! I forgot about the SC State game in Mumford ... so three nonconference games .... seven conference games that count .... one game floating in the ether...

2017 will be Austin Howard's last year as starting QB ... however, we'll be virtually totally new on offense. Defensively, we could be much better if these NCAT dudes turn the D around....I like how the 2017 nonconference is setting up... However, let's get through 2016 first LOL
 



To the person that created this thread. There is no Southern (Hattiesburg). I have family there, their school is called SOUTHERN MISS. There is only one SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY. Let's not diminish that.

People in MS- White and Black who aren't familiar with SUBR- often refer to USM as just "Southern", hence the play on words that you missed. You shouldn't take yourselves so seriously.

Lie!! Whites and blacks do know who Southern is you just have to say ''Southern University" than the problem will be fixed. Smh
