The team quit in this game. Having a decent punter would at least taken 21 points off the board. Not that solves the defensive issues.

i told you..........0-7. and cromwell got 3/4 of his yards on one run before he left the game. bamma state dont have dbs. if moore had been in sync, we would have had 3 more tds. he flat over threw 3 wide open tds.

F that, it may be time to just hire someone with no connection to HBCU football at all. Get some fresh minds in here.

Somebody that can recognize that most kids playing football at a HBCU comes from remedial high school football programs and they would need to work overtime to teach them the basic fundamentals that they should have gotten in high school.

GR might be right. Dooley may be our coach in 2 years.

Reason for concern was left all over Northwestern’s new synthetic turf.

Zach Adkins lit up Southern’s veteran secondary, completing 22 of 34 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns. Bryant Mitchell (six catches for 99 yards) and Ed Eagan (six for 98) combined for 197 yards on 12 catches. Four backs led a Northwestern rushing attack that finished with 192 yards on 40 carries, helping the Demons to 554 yards of offense.

Didn't we try to tell yall ass that? Damn it, I love being right.

I'm STILL tryna figure out how you give up 55 points against a sorry Northwestern State. I can't put a finger on it. I wish somebody who saw the game would try and explain what happened.

That's easy...While Southern was busy color coordinating outfits, purses and pumps; chartering the buses to bring their fans and making sure the band routines were tight, Northwestern broke down Southern's game film from the Houston fiasco and came up with an actual game plan ;)

Wont let you get away with this. Its more than that, for example your punter had a punt for 9 yards. That has nothing to do with coaching, it was a lot more I could chime in on but I wont because you guys will never admit to it in public.

It ain't rocket science, it's called very poor coaching

Who recruited the punter? The coaches. Who taught the punter basic techniques or lack thereof? The coaches. Who allowed the punter to continue to stroll out on the field only to do the same thing again and again? The coaches. Who didn't bother to recruit a better punter? The coaches.

SU fans were busy shutting the city down while the other team was busy shutting their football team down. You cant get them to talk football at all...just like the fans are on this board "ALL OF THEIR FANS ARE THE SAME." We might be fanatics on this board, but all SU fans say the same FN thing....we shole had more people at the game than you....our band....our RVs....

Whereas the punter perform poorly he didn't call one play or miss one tackle, ran one route drop one pass.

Thanks for your expertise on the game of football though, out was my first game so I might be missing on some of the little nuances-

And it really could have been much worse. Northwestern State pulled back the reigns in the 4th quarter. If they really wanted to rub it in they could have easily scored 70-80. Our defense was just pathetic and the punter with his 9 yard punts wasn't helping the cause. If our team looks remotely decent against the SWAC then I think that would speak volumes about the level the SWAC is at.

Hey if you wanna take the easy route and blame all of your issues on coaching then be my guest. Its no need for me to explain anything to Southern. I pointed out things in the past only for you guys to admit it later. You wont admit anything on front street, but you know whats really going on and it aint just coaching.

Coaches recruit those players and put them out on the field to keep making the same mistakes, so yes it is on coaching too.
