He not going anywhere until Pete Richardson is dead. I think T Graves is good for SU because of his appreciation and love for HBCUs.Tbh. SU is not going to fire the coach, we are stuck with him until next year. Do I think we are in trouble, YES.
Nah. Graves will not be at SU after next yearHe not going anywhere until Pete Richardson is dead. I think T Graves is good for SU because of his appreciation and love for HBCUs.
This is the best news we heard all day. I was watching the game on SWAC TV and held my breath for a few. Glad he is okay.

Woods had to leave last year's Bayou Classic with a concussion ... just when it looked like he was getting comfortable at QB.
Less than a year later, he gets knocked at Valley ... just as it looked like the offense was starting to click.
So that's two major head injuries for Woods within a calendar year (Nov. 2024 - present) ...
I'm glad he's OK. However, you must start asking tough questions about his short- and long-term health.
At the end of the day, Jalen is someone’s son. I could only imagine the panic in his family as he laid on that field. I watched the play live and said to my wife “oh s—! He’s not moving!”Hits too close to home for me. Same occurred for my son. He retired after his frosh year and the school still allowed him to be on athl scholarship & complete undergrad in 3.5 years, which was a blessing.
Valley could have a very interesting season.......there is talent. I agree with your assessment and best wishes moving forward.SU 34
Valley 29
Final
1) PLEASE stick with #12 at QB. He's a good runner and a better passer than #11. Everyone saw it today. We're competent with him at QB with an offensive identity
2) Hopefully the OL will gel as the season goes on especially at center. Bad snaps hurt us early. And we didn't have a run threat other than the QB
3) The 2 times we got deep in the red zone, #11:was in the game and only got FGs. That literally cost us the game
4) The DL is gonna be an Achilles heel all season. We couldn't stop the run in key situations including at the end of the game

Yup … Twice in less than 12 months!Wait two….see this is when the NCAA has to step in. How many should it take…three….four….
Great analysis.......I think our field goal kicker missed a 43 yarder. But he was a bright spot on the day.But back to the game …
Strategically, we were somewhat at a disadvantage. Didn’t know what and who Valley was going to throw at us while they had a whole game film from the NC Central game, along with last season.
They knew our tendencies from jump, while we had to learn on the fly.
You can tell we were off mentally after the Woods hit. A couple of bounces the other way and it’s a signature win for T Buck and the Delta Devils program.
I’m just glad we had a kicker that went 3-for-3 on field goals LOL
Our secondary got worked a little bit, and the DBs dropped interceptions that could’ve broken the game open.
Valley is a few Jimmys and Joes away from really breaking through.
My bad. He did miss the 43-yarder. But not bad for a true freshman kicker's first college game.Great analysis.......I think our field goal kicker missed a 43 yarder. But he was a bright spot on the day.
