Because one of the A's in NCAA stands for arbitrary. There's no rhyme or reason to what it does. I will be shocked if he isn't eligible by the Alabama game.

Who said that he did besides two unidentified people just running their mouth? I don't like jumping the gun on stuff like this before anything concrete comes out. Until then, its business as usual.

Look at what happened to the running back for Ohio State when everybody jumped the gun, suspending him from the team for hitting a tramp that he never touched. She hit him and the video proved it a week later.
 
Where's A&M compliance people...unless dude just went renegade they should've sat him done since the Heisman and explained the do's and don'ts and that the spotlight on him will be more intense than he could ever imagine. Not like he needs the money, his mom and dad both come from oil families right?

They won't be able to find a money trail on this. He may have agreed to a deal, but you won't find the cash (or check).

This is something that I always find interesting. Whey do they always call these grown azz men kids? Every where else in the u.s. they are grown azz men, but in the ncaa they are still kids.

By the time I was his age I was in a leadership position in a military unit. These are grown azz men, maybe they do this dumb stuff because people keep telling them they are kids.
