:( This news really saddens me because Carlos was in the T-bone section(T-bone Thunda) at Alcorn when I was there. I was a senior, he was a freshman..so I had a part in "crabbin" him into our section. I remember him being a laid back cool cat. He was so laid back and cool until another member of the section named him "Buddy Love". He was truly a good person, a class act, liked by almost everyone he came in contact with...... I really remember him for some reason as being somewhat of a "carefree" person, not letting the cares of this world weigh him down.....I am really going to miss him. My condolences go out to his family..

R.I.P my fellow T-bone Thunda brother and friend...
I love you and I will never forget you man....

Carlos was a good friend of mine. I marched in the band with Carlos and he has always proven to be dedicated and very hard working in the music world as well as to his friends. I will deeply miss him.

My prayers to the family of carlos and the ASU family

Carlos was a good friend of mine, and I was shocked to hear that he passed away.....he marched in the band the same time I was in the band....I was a freshman when he was a junior and he showed me all the ways to be cool and to get along well with others. He always taught me that being nice to others is a good thing because you might need them to help you when you need help; never burn your bridges, he always said....My freshman year he stayed across the hall from me and listened to my problems when he didn't have to...now that's being a good friend. He told me once, that if I needed anything just let him know, he watched over me like I was a little brother, we joked together and he hung out together.....and he wasn't just like that to me but he was like that to everyone that he encountered, Carlos was friendly to everyone.....Carlos will truely be missed, not just by me but by everyone he had contact with. Carlos is a true definition of a FRIEND......thanks Carlos "Buddy Love" Brown
