Don't worry FN, we'll see 'em again in Birmingham. I hope their band stays at home though.

I'll take my chances with a high school band from Birmingham as a fill in.
 
Did y'all have band members out of the stands during the third, or at any time after the half?
 
Because I was told that someone in the band made an off color remark to my godson, and I asked because I wanted to know.

Is that okay with you, or do I need to PM you before I ask anything in reference to J-State?

Band members don't usually talk smack to opposing fans unless the opposing fans initiate the smack.

So based on that piece of info, your godson was probably guilty of opening his mouth.
Your godson was probably upset that M4 was gettin' :flamethro on their own home field.

By the way, what in the H*ll was he doing on JSU's side to begin with?
 
I don't give a fugg who said what to whom. What the boy SAID was that the BOOM sounded good this year, but HE THOUGHT they sounded better the LAST TIME they were in Pine Bluff. I don't perceive that as smack, I behold it as an opinion. However, obviously, some jackass DID perceive it as smack, and governed himself in a way that SHOULD be :shame:ful to anyone with SENSE, and an abomination to anyone wearing the letters of the BOOM across his/her chest, which I GUESS would explain why you're so impressed by such BULLISHT.

Season ticket holders for UAPB have seats with the backs on BOTH SIDES OF THE FIELD. If you've EVER been in the stadium, you'd likely know that. :retard:

That was my first time visiting the stadium.
Why would y'all sell season tickets to UAPB fans for the VISITORS side when the home side's not even halfway full?
That's too much like askin' for trouble, like it almost did.

Um, season tickets in the BLACK SEATS sell out on the home side SELL OUT every year.

Whether the people attend every home game or not, they purchase the seats for the entirety of the season. When the home side sells out, they sell the seats on the visitor's side. The capacity at that particular game has nothing to do with the black seats at the front, because they are PAID FOR IN FULL before the start of the season.

When you have your own stadium, you can do illogical isht like that, and I can see it's still okay for futhamuckas to cuss out kids while repping your school, because dammit, people should sit with their own kind during the freakin' game! :mad: How quaint.

First of all we werent going for sound we were going for quality. DUH EVERYONE COULD TELL YALL OUTNUMBERED US 10:1. Ray Charles could have figured that out.... N E way as far as yall FIELDSHOW im not the one to hate but my roommate said YALL WERE THE PITS :smh: My roommate said who in the hell marches a precision drill with two different songs NO ONE! She also said that yall field show was tight but the lines when yall first got out the field were herendous, and she also said y did yall do the a Micheal Jackson thriller dance routine... The only reason y the crowd was cheering is because they were probably thinking who in the h-e double hockey sticks took the time to learn the videos choreography... Leopard Not HOTT at ALL!!! A guy baton thrower definately not hott.... JSettes look very nice good job...
Our field show maybe you haven't heard but there is a song called JUMP ROPE DUH.. what did you want to happen, the whole band take out jump ropes and start jump roping it was just not going to happen buddy. Y don't you get some imagination... I think you are jealous b/c you can't jump rope.

I was at the game and I could not hear the boom that well until I positioned myself directly in front of them. Then you get the impact as I did. I positioned myself in front of M4 and got the same impact. I'm not one to criticize a lot but some bleeps appear to be musically ignorant or maybe just claiming...
Good job to both bands. FYI, Don't think for one minute that the boom had UAPB's fans. M4 did what they came to the game to do and was sucessful. :kiss:
lr, that is your opinion but it is misguided a little. PB's crowd respond to the boom the same way the boom's crowd respond to M4 when they visit JSU. I think that they were entertained both ways, same as last year in Jackson, the year before and the year before that... I think that JSU and UAPB fans have class unlike some other SWAC fans such as some at southern and grambling. (places I have been for a game and the fans booed the visiting band before they got on the field):smh:
PB appreciates quality acts and will show hospitality unlike some at BR or GSU.

I wasn't at the game. Had I been, the isht would have made the news. Those within and without of the J-State arena who know ME, know THAT. A college educated individual ought to be able to take the comment of a fugging FIFTEEN YEAR OLD with a grain of salt, and not by speaking to him in a common assed manner as if he can do that kind of isht. But hey, if y'all ROLL like that at J-STATE, then y'all just do y'all. :rolleyes:

It isn't a life or death situation. It is a class, common sense, and respect situation, none of which that JACKASS BOOM MEMBER, or YOU for that matter, obviously suffer, sense he DID the isht, and you seem to CONDONE it. :tup:

It seems as though you are older than your godson, the college student that may have offended your godson, and the young dude posting here. But you acting as ignorant as all three. You haven't to like it, nor to deal with it. So do YOU!! Had I been there, the BD WOULD have known what was said to my godson, and the situation WOULD have been dealt with, as well as with HIS arse if he said anything out of turn (which, from several sources, was NOT the case, beyond his stating his opinion).

But as I stated, if the KIDS representing YOUR school going around cussing out kids in front of grown folks is alright with y'all, then deuce to the wind on it!

You are completely young and (_______). There is no visitor side at a college stadium. Every seat is intended for the home crowd. Do you think the Dallas Cowboys have a visitors side? Do you think Alabama, Aurburn, LSU, Arkansas, etc. have a visitors side. Get out of the high school mentality.

If you didn't know, there is a local artist in the Arkansas area that has a hit song out that has something to do with the jump rope skit.

"OAK CLIFF, THATS MY HOOD"!!! If you are not from the DFW area, you wouldn't know anthing about what I just type, however it was the HOTTEST song in this area at a time.
