Sonic Boom vs. M4

What's happening everybody??? I just want to give an HONEST account about last night's battle between the Sonic Boom of the South and the Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South (UAPB). I'll give it to you quarter by quarter..........

1st Quarter...... Sonic Boom

They were cranking from the time they got into the stands. It seems like they were setting the tone form the entire game that they were the dominant band.......

2nd Quarter....... Sonic Boom

Again, they were just blasting UAPB on every time out, and stoppage in play. The UAPB fans were wondering why their band wasn't playing back. They were saying that they were saving it until halftime, when................


Halftime...... Sonic Boom

The drill was crisp, and of course the " Thrill of a Million Eyes", Those FINE J-SETTES were on point!!! :love: (DAMN!!!) Usually, and I told y'all I'm being HONEST, the Michael Jackson "Thriller" dance routine doesn't do it for me. I've seen several bands do it, SU being the best in mind, but JSU really did it good. I was very impressed. The UAPB fans were going crazy!!!! (I was on the UAPB side during halftime) It was folks in the stands doing the dance routine too. It was really Great!!!! When UAPB got on the field, their fans were really trying to get them going, but it turned into looks of "what's going on?" The show was good, but the fans had just seen "Thriller" and I think they wanted something more than band members doing double dutch jump rope. (They really did double dutch during the end of their routine).

3rd quarter..... Sonic Boom

They stared playing "The Show" and if you have been to a game when they play it, you know what happened. Also this was the first time that UAPB started to play back at JSU. They went back and forth, and it was really exciting. JSU is just too powerful, though.

4th Quarter...... UAPB

Maybe you are suprised I said this, but the reason I did is because they played the WHOLE quarter. The football team had the come from behind victory, and during the comback, the band and the fans were into it.


5th quarter....... Sonic Boom

What can I say??? The Boom put on a dominating performance in the stands. The UAPB fans actually migrated from in front of M4 over to the Boom.

My Mommy said different, and that J-State hogged the halftime show, but she might be kinda biased.
 



Hmmm....... Only 3 posts, No info in profile, really thinks that what they type is believable.


OoooooooK! So with that being said. J State Just dominated from beginning to end. UAPB should have stayed home! J State was krankin, UAPB sat there and never played! Halftime THRILLER ROCKED! UAPB got crickets.

Wow! What young ears hear these days! Great Job Boom!
 
I was at the game last night.
This was my first time seeing UAPB. I was not impressed AT ALL.
This was like David versus Goliath, but in this case David got slaughtered.
It became obvious who the better band was when UAPB fans started migrating to the BOOM's side BEFORE halftime and during the 5th quarter.
The BOOM had their fans and UAPB's fans hyped the entire game!

I could barely hear UAPB's band. It was very disappointing.
 
If it was nonsense, why did you respond? The truth is the truth. You weren't there so you just have to take my word for it.
 
Do you all understand that this is MY OPINION!!!! If you don't agree with me, then write an opinion of your own.
 
And by the way PHILHARMONIC, I do only have 3 post. You know why? Cause I have a life!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love black college bands and all since I was part of the best one. I like making money more than posting on this site. Did my OPINION of the game offend you???

Sorry 1st Sarg, I saw something completely different. They showed some good JSU hi-lites.

They showed some girl from UAPB's band jumping rope.
I wonder who decided to add that to the halftime show.
If it wasn't so sad, it would have been funny. Well it was funny and stupid. :no:
UAPB's band director might wanna scrap that halftime show forever, especially the jump rope. It was....:sleeping:

Beat me to it... I'll be the first to admit, I hate DUMB opinions....
Nuff said... But like you said, those who act like they aren't the guilty party are just as guilty...:tup:
 
Now back to the subject at hand....the BOOM :flamethro M4 alive.

You see no M4 fans are disputing the clear beatdown.
They were smacking before the game, now you only hear crickets in the background.

AA&M's next.... IF they decide to show up. You :scared: yet?

Yall had no drive, the refs got yall 2 the redzone and kept us away......


How da heyal can u call a pass interference when the safety never made any kind of contact with the reciever......not once but twice?!?! Thats 30 yards right there.....
