if I had not gone to jsu gr still would not have gone to grambling.....but the grambling people seem to be good folks. all the gram folks tgo has met have been very nice
 
I don't know about you. But, everytime I see Jayrob smack....I always picture a drunken monkey driving a mid-size car with no steering wheel.

You posted this on the SU-JSU thread and it closed before I could respond... Consider yourself held in good regard, cuz if this was one of the GRD's like jayrob I would have just igged it and moved on.

Okay now to the real:

Now about the JSU-Hampton game: about 7,000 of those fans were JSU. Honestly I expected less with traveling being so expensive. Gas was like $4/ gallon in FL. Not to mention the hurricane threat as some others mentioned. So I was pleased with those numbers. Very pleased. I hope yall don't run into those same obstacles, or attendance will really be a disaster.

Do you recall my original statement? I said that yall had regional appeal and that outside of your fans I don't think fans would come to a Classic type game between SU and JSU. I stand by that... but the GRD's took it as smack and I just said "cfuk it" I'll toy with them awhile. The GRD's didn't catch that...but they kinda jumpy, Especially jayrob and the new dude Housecat (although I can't recall if he actually posted on this thread). They all kinda alike...but you got potential. Are you kinda in the Robber wing of the Mafia or did they give you GR? Nevermind...just think on it.

But to get back to the real... do you think SU & JSU would do well as a classic? Maybe I worded it wrong or didn't take into account the azz sore some of yall still got from the SCG. The way we kicked yall azz, it's understandable that yall take it as a putdown. Normally, I do put yall azzes down but that wasn't one of the times. I just don't think anyone outside your two fanbase would be interested. But hell, prove me wrong...make it a classic somewhere outside the region and see what DOESN'T happen.

First of all, I never said that JSU had National appeal. I originally asked you if Gram had national appeal and you implied that they did. And to back it up you tried the per capita approach, which isnt a factor when talking about football attendance figures.

I honestly believe that it is silly to think that putting Grambling in the SWAC/ MEAC game last year would have produced better results. Trying to sell that game in Orlando (with it being the inaugural game at that site) was a tall task, so for you to use that game does not help make your point.

Again, I asked for proof of how Gram has name recognition and all you did was post the attendance from the JSU-Hampton game. :confused:

My bad... I don't have "proof" ...the truth needs no proof nor explanation. It's kinda like the "a conviction of things not seen." You know... like scripture, you don't question it, you just know that you know.
