The sad thing is WE as a people find a way a lot of times to make issues between two divergent groups of white men about the issues of black people. Black people can only handle the issues of black people. The Republican party offers me the best venue to facilitate the matters of myself, my family and my community (I still live in the hood BTW).

Democrats know they got your vote so they don't even address your issues half the time.
Republicans know you will vote Democrat regardless so they don't waste their time. I would hope that one day we will vote our own interests as opposed to somebody elses as a community like every other ethnic group in this country does.
If I hear one more college educated black person say, "Man, I'm for all practical purposes fiscally conservative but it would kill my folks if they ever found out I voted for a Republican", I'm gonna be sick.
