Some Advice For JSU Fans

Do not, I repeat do not pay a coach with Alumni funds. After the Alcorn game send him back to MSU. I really feel terrible for everyone I have met from Jackson St. And the ones who live in Huntsville, don't avoid me.

Fivehead Hughes doesn't have clue...

We need to quit hiring first time or high school coaches. bell, jackson and hughes were terrible hires by incompetent AD's and old folks calling the shots behind the scenes.

But I don't feel sorry for y'all because y'all keep doing the same shyt over & over again...
 
If we don’t win the next 3 weeks he need to be fired ASAP... start a go fund me and get his ass up out of there... ponders is not ready at all and we have the Qb that won the team on the side line *face palms*

Eazy, that go fund me should have been started at the beginning of the season...

There are some good young coaches out there at places like Langston, Bowie State & Morehouse (TSU Alumnus) but what does JSU do; go out and hire Dumb (Jackson) & Dumber (Hughes)

My grandma would tell me that when you know better, you do better...

Obviously JSU still doesn't know better...

AAMU please continue to drag & smack they azz to sleep... It's the only way they will learn....

If we’re being honest, I had JSU at 6-5 this year with next year being the swac contention year. They should’ve won that damn game ... they played stupid in the second half.. pb , mvsu , and bama state should be wins so if that’s not reality ... to hell with the end of the season, Hughes need to be gone before Alcorn. You’re right though... *sighes* congratulations Alabama a&m *face palms*

I was at the game and Coach Hughes should have recognized Ponder didn't have it last night and made a move to bring in Hayes a lot sooner( coaching inexperience). It's obvious Ponder is Mumme's choice at the QB position but that's when Hughes has to step in and take charge. I kinda think Coach Hughes and Coach Mumme might be at odds. Y would Mumme call a roll out play on 4th and 1 when Johnson was gaining chunks of yards during the current drive. Just seemed odd to come out of a timeout and call a roll out!!!

It's not totally the fan's fault. The state makes the call on what president to hire. If that president decides to bring in their own AD, and that AD decides to clean house, not much the Alumni can do about that...IMO. The fans didn't hire Fuller.

I think he will as well. Believe it or not, he set the foundation for PV to be where they're at today. I'm sure the PV folks still have some animosity toward Robinson, but privately, they know he helped put folks in place to revive PV football.
We had (no offense to females) but women who didn't know football, hiring old ass men who where first time head coaches. We don't need no first time coach.....period.

Wait but I thought since he was an offensive coordinator in the SEC he could win and recruit in the SWAC.

He's got to be talking about Mumme being an OC in the SEC. Wasn't he Kentucky Head Coach and calling plays?
