I've red a lot about this on the Mississippi subreddit the last few days. Most of the white folks seem to think Ole Miss, Miss State, USM and JSU are the ones that would be safe.

This comes up about every 10 years or so in Mississippi...typically never makes it out of committee.
Plus Land Grant institutions such as Alcorn would be tough for the State to mess with...Federal government established them.

The Republican play book normally floats this type of stuff out as a distraction for black folks while they are really doing something more detrimental like rejecting Medicaid expansion "again" resulting in more health care facilities closing and physicians leaving...
