You're talking to a guy who probably never ever played competitive sports in his life. But that same guy will turn around and praise the McNeese of the world for playing LSU. :rolleyes:

We got issues mane...some real deep seeded issues.

You played baseball. I can see getting up in a sport like that. There are some wins here and there. ..and if you get embarrassed, 80,000 people won't see it.

I know ND State former coach said he used playing Minnesota as a recruiting tool for those kids who got passed over by Minnesota in High School to get kids from the region to come over. Will you all stop talking about that App State-Michigan game? It was dayum near 10years ago and will probably never happen again... AND Michigan tore them out the frame in the rematch.. and probably would have tore them out the frame two weeks later.

Also, at the time App State was the #1 team in FCS... so I could see them wanting to prove themselves vs the big boys... but what SU got to prove vs Michigan? How many TDs the 3rd string can score? How good the band can hunch?!

Also, you all are good at trying to change subjects. No one said the kids didn't get up for these teams. The point is... it's pointless when they leave the field feeling like shat because they just got drug! As administrators, coaches, etc... someone needs to have some pride and avoid that mess. I could see Alcorn DYING to play USM again and I would understand why.... but Alcorn should have to reason to be excited about what is about to happen to them Thursday night.

The sting of getting blown out in front of 100 people against Mississippi State or Alabama State feels just as bad as getting run in front of 100,000 people at Georgia Tech.

Yes, but don't forget that Apps State lost Edwards at QB and their top 4 receivers and running back from the previous year. The Apps State the played Michigan would have given LSU problems.
