What article? The Advocate just started writing it recently. It's news but you and Beans are the only ones really so into it. The thing you need to worry about is what your President is doing with the other SWAC Presidents and Chancellor are doing. The NCAA has gotten their paperwork and from all indications it will satisfy them for what they didn't like back in 09. This is not a current investigation. It is follow up that folks at SU dropped the ball on. Hell, knowing who was in charge doing that time period, it is not shocking our current folks had to probably recreate some stuff that was never done to submit. In the meantime the basketball teams continue to do what they need to. Right now all you are doing is being typical JayRob hoping it ends badly for SU because you can't stand us. Simple as that. Everyone else is chilling. Some made a few comments and moved on. You need to call the NCAA now and ask them all your questions.

Because there was no article to post before hand. If yall were not too busy trolling and stuff you would have saw where I said a CBS reporter brought this up on Twitter weeks ago but no article was posted until this thread. It was out there and people knew but it was not made official in public via an article until recently.

As someone said before, it's sad some of yall are reveling in wanting to see another school suffer because of APR because yall had to do it. We've been banned for two years in basketball and the baseball and football teams have had bans as well. Other schools have had bans as well but other than maybe a mention here and there about TSU, it hasn't come close to this. Yall really need to let it go...

Did anyone actually SAY they wanted su sports to be banned? Why do you have to lie and make claim that anyone did?

As long as this is the sports board, anything sports related is open for folks to discuss whether you like it or not.
It's ashame folks want to try and stunt the rights of others to talk about sporting news.

And if you think some su folks didn't know about this investigation long before it came out, then you're quite naive.

SU folks keep entertaining the foolery...They've already explained what was going on 10 different times and keep going for the bait. I mean seriously, how many times do they have to say:

...It's out of our hands
...We've turned in the paperwork
...It happened under the old administration
...We aren't banned from the tourney this year
...We finished ahead of UAPB last year (doesn't f'n matter, you won the tourney, we aren't a multiple bid conference)

If you violated NCAA rules, hell yeah you SHOULD'VE been banned. Youre no better than any other school but I never said be banned just for the hell of it.

Ya'll need to be banned. ALL of YOUR schools knew you had poor APR and you STILL voted against JSU. Sure SU was banned too but uuuum, Stump was the coach and they were a non-factor.

Because of that, ALL of you need to suffer your APR fates and deal with it. SU is cheating on the court and calling it winning. Oh well.

BB, sorry for the late reply.

Yes, all of this is "messing" with the kids on the court. It was mentioned after the home loss to UAPB the men's team were concentrating on this issue too much. Banks and co. need to reel the guys in and get their mind right.

Also, it has been reported neither team's players are answering questions regarding it.
