You have to get the master schedule from the SWAC. We already know how that can be. Then, you have to find a team with a common open date or they have to find you AND be interested in playing a game. It's a lot harder than yall think it is. Especially trying to find teams this late. I think it'll get better after this season.

Exactly. Many conferences have their schedules 2 years in advance. Blame the conference first having to schedule conference foes for OOC games unless you want to play all bloodbath OOC games. Then when you have incompetent AD's what do you expect?

All I'm hearing from folks is that the ADs are lazy. Hell, they were behind the 8 ball the minute this was announced in 2015. Unless they already had deals in place for OOC games, it was going to be hell trying to find them. If you want to fill out your schedule nicely, you need to be at least two years ahead. The SWAC needs to send out a master schedule that goes up to 2020. They have the dates and opponents for each SWAC team listed. Give that to the ADs and let them start working on future schedules now. Problem solved.
