I think some sistahs wil be free and let it all hang out if they are in an area where no one knows them. Otherwise, you will catch most in a t-shirt or a sarong for the simple fact that they want to still enjoy the sun/water at the pool or beach but fear of what others will say about cellulite or stretch marks, thunder thighs, etc. It's a matter of still looking decent while having on swim wear. And yes, I would wear a sarong depending on the crowd I'm around. Just be thankful that we sistahs have sense or common courtesy to cover up vs. some races that are not in shape just let it all hang out then yall wish they covered up.

The thing that puzzles me is, sistah's will be dayum near naked when they're supposed to wear clothes, but when it comes to putting on a bathing suit, they have the big towels wrapped around them, or those big goofy arsed T-Shirts. I see women showing more skin at work, and at the club than at the pool, where they're supposed to show skin.

CEE I guess they all wait until they go to the islands, or a cruise, where nobody knows them to put that swimsuit on, because every winter up here it's like clockwork; All of the ladies start hitting the gym up:lmao: , because they're supposedly getting their bodies ready for that 2 piece they're wearing on their trip, or cruise.:nod2: :lmao:

Personally I won't even set myself up like that. I don't swim, so there's no reason to even pretend that I'd get in the water.

But more than culture, it's just a way of hiding imperfections. Not everybody is stacked and some of us are double stacked so those cover-ups are not going anywhere any time soon.

One of the reasons that sistas IN DA SOUF (not sure that they teach up Norf) keep themselves covered is that we teach our girls to avoid being ogled. Admired and longed for, yes; ogled, no. So, with something left to the imagination, she can enjoy relaxing, good water play, and still retain some of her dignity REGARDLESS TO HER PROPORTIONS.

If some of you fellas would simply learn to control your behavior by enjoying the scenery rather than becoming it, you might get to enjoy more scenery and have the company of a respectable woman.
