Silence of the Grams!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah kinda like the last 11 Bayou Classics huh? :emlaugh:

Yes, The Legendary Great Eddie Robinson got old at the end. Doug Williams was not a great coach. He has a name being the only black QB to win the Super Bowl, with the name Grambling already has and was able to get better talent then the rest of the SWAC. Pete Richardson is a good coach, and if he was at a school where he could get top talent he would probably be recognized nation wide. Once Pete retires or leaves Southern you guys will disappear back to where you were before he got there. Please think about the fact that you have won 10 out of 11 Bayou Classics and only have a two win advantage over Grambling. I hope you enjoy this shiii from the last couple of years because shii is finally changing for the better at Grambling. If the potential is reached at the G, no one in the SWAC will be able to stay on the field with Grambling. You know it and every one else on this dammm board know it.

Come on Bigg, you have one reciever, #5. The rest are garbage, and you know it. You have a 340 offensive lineman that's bowlegged, who in the fugg is he going to block, looking like a phat arsed John Wayne.

Your defense caught up to a one dimensional Bethune team, thank God, they can't throw. I give them props, because they showed heart, but they were playing against a 3rd string quarterback, and good thing he got knocked out, because when he was in the game, he was unstoppable.

Your running backs are trash too. Maybe Ab Kuan can pose for a Tiger of the month poster, because he dayum sure ain't no running back. Then there's the fat fullback. His name escapes me, but he's some schit too. That big muthaphugga ran 2 times for 12 yards, on a 73 degree day, on the opening series, and he needed a breather, after 2 runs. 2. I thought he was about to drink every drop of Gatorade the way he hit the sideline.

You can borrow my broom, just in case yours is broke, because you definitely need to sweep around your own porch first pottna.

NICE

How many times has Ricks been sacked this year?? Answer that!!! Bama St couldn't touch him!!! Our D-line is far from sad this past Sat was the most they gave up on the ground all season

First, very view teams get sacked anymore unless it's a blitz and your qb isn't schooled on making hot reads. SU throws a lot of 3 step drop stuff so a lot of pass protection is not needed. But if you say your offensive line is good...okay. Actually they ain't bad but they are NOT the best in the SWAC.

Now about that D-line. If you gave up the most yards on the ground this past Saturday, then Bama State must have really ran the ball. McNeese had one back with dayum near 200 yds on yall...and the dude from Rabbit State "came all down yall throat" (Thanks Pete).

Nice,

Ol' Bowlegs (Darryl Rodgers) looks bad but plays very well. He's not too bad on the trap blocks. The problem with our running game is due to impatience by the coaching staff. In fact, all these SWAC coaches have gotten too infatuated with the pass. Kuuan is a good back...the lack of patience by the coaching staff (a problem throughout the SWAC) hurts the running game of all teams.

But I've seen your team play. Your defensive line is soft and your linebackers seem to be stuck in sand. Can't stop an inside running game and too slow to get out in coverage on backs. Landry Carter and Kuaan in the flats will kill them. We won't even address your secondary...are they scholarship guys?

Yes I did say it. Landers is better already as a true freshman than Ricks is as a 5th year senior. Stats are not the only measuring stick of a qb...but actually, Landers stats are not bad. What I like is his decision making and poise at such an early age. And hell yeah, Bama State need their azz whipped. They have a good running game and decided not to use it. SU's run defense is very weak... I mean very weak. That's not smack! With their running game and a 20 point lead, it should have been over. Credit to the yellas for pulling it out, but after we go up on yall by twenty...it's gonna be all over.

It's just not #37 alone that needs benching...hell no pass rush will make anyone look like garbage. Your entire secondary is toast...correction: Your entire defense is weak! That's what happens when your coach can't recruit and your facilities are toiletry.
Only when its bruce bruce stats huh? :dizzy:

Bruce's stats were astronomical but his praise was due to the fact that he proved he could make all the throws and read defenses. Bruce is a difference maker...so is Landers. Ricks is starting because you just don't have anyone else ready to go. But I'm not saying he's not a good qb...I am saying that Landers is better, even as a freshman.

Mike, as you know, talent has always been one of attributes that separates Gram from the rest. Bruce came in with mimimal experience, and lit the SWAC on fire. Landers will be just as productive and meaningful to his team as true freshman as Ricks is as a 5th year Sr.

Landers' accuracy is impressive at this stage in his development. The ball he threw to #6 in the 1st half (50 yd bomb in the air) is one of many passes thrown on time.

Exactly!!! The way Mike is talking you'd think that gsu was undefeated. The jstank syndrome has been passed to gsu.......Lord help them. :(

Year after year?!? Dude you have only "known" me since 2000 when I joined this board. Do you realize how many BCF and SWAC championships we've won during that time frame? That's championship football anyway you look at it. It just chaps your blue azz that Grambling has more national respect and notariety than the jags...but you should be used to it. If not, tough cookies... there can only be one ICON and Grambling is it. You should be thankful that your association with us has given you some exposure.

Irrefutable.. but they know this. The pain of being second fiddle must be difficult. But, realizing SU will never reach the global acclaim of Grambling mustbe sucidal.

Buy ya some -- ya'll good at it. :rolly:

Your defense has given up 20+ points every game this year (30+ twice), and you're an authority on defense's? Riiiiight.

NICE
Actually wodie, no offense has scored 30+ on the defense. Alcorn had a 97 yd int return, and PV had a block punt for a score. Our D has given up 20+ points (but the offense has placed them in a precarious situation a few times).

MikeBigg, The entire SWAC better enjoy whatever success they have had in recent years and please go back as far as they may, but Grambling in now with the change in administrative people heading in a very different direction. Gramblings' potential is about to be reached. And we all know what that means.

Yep, it probably means this again ....

Damn, y'all two down and haven't played Bama State, Jackson State, who almost took you last year, or Southern? Supporting the team is one thing, but having no sense in your head is another.

What's last year got to do with anything? You haven't played Alcorn and they've dug in your azz for the past two years...don't let them "come down your throat" like Elmer said them Jackrabbits did. Is that why they call yall Sucks? Just asking!

So I take it the answer to my question is yes Mr. bluedog, this is the same isht I spout year after year, but I can't help myself. You see I actually believe Doug is going to return after this year. :lmao:

You better be glad we don't want Elmer! He'd drop yall like a soiled diaper for the chance to coach at the ICON. But don't fret...we don't hire cowards.

No, y'all hire cousins.

Once again, get an amenity.

That's good to hear...

Now does that help the fact that your defense is really weak this year. I understand your lashing out in frustration from paying more for an inferior product. Will the fans payout the $32 to see a weak homecoming opponent? Probably not...I'm glad I know someone in Administration who gives out complimentary tickets.
