Whew!

I was a bit on edge about this mission, and the decision to NOT repair the heat tile on the bottom of the craft.

Bless God the shuttle is home safely and in ONE peace, and more importantly, the astronauts are safe and sound!!

BLESS GOD!

I watched it live, and I was particularly proud of this one because not only had I worked on the mission in the past, I have actually walked while pregnant INSIDE this vehicle and I sat in the Pilot's chairs! GOD IS GOOD!

:smoke: Welcome home Shuttle Endeavor.
I worked this flight watching the monitors and stuff. I saw a close up picture of that chunk of tile. I was nervous too.

I watched the landing here at my desk.

Props to the dang engineers. They made the call and their call WAS RIGHT. Engineers have among the most thankless jobs on the planet; when things work/go right, it's expected(they are nowhere to be found), but when things go wrong, engineers are called to the carpet and ripped to smitherenes, fired. :(

I was also! Thank god that shuttle Endeavor is back on the ground. AAMU Alum do you work for NASA? I lived in Huntsville when Space Shuttle Columbia exploded and the people that I knew that worked for NASA were devastated. I was shocked myself.
