One day you need to go to Bragg in Tally Ho and see how it is there as well. Maybe that's why FAMU fans aint sced to come to BR. LOL.

Preach man ..... these fools think we are supposed to bow down as the great visitors from Jackson grace us with their presence. YES, we appreciate you coming. YES, we want you to come. BUT, short of carrying you around on a damn throne, what else do you want us to do?

You're going to have hostility ... we are rivals, DUH! WE have a great time in Jackson, primarily because we know we have numbers .... we know we can talk isht and have backup. And, no, I'm not talking hurting nobody or threatening nobody. Good natured, you team ain't isht, smack. Y'all do it here, with maybe 500 people behind you, surrounded by Jaguars. I can understand why you feel threatened ......

Because SU doesn't HATE JSU as much as FAM or the Bamas. C'mon JR lets just be real dude. When it comes to football, y'all hate us and we hate you. Bottom line......point is, SU fans have taken it to a whole nother level when we come down there. I'm not saying nothing has happened to SU fans in Jackson but we KNOW it has happened to JSU fans in Mumford.

The sad part is that you obviously think someone owes JSU something. NO one told y'all to play in a 65,000 seat stadium where you personal fan base is somewhat equalled by SU as far as numbers. We don't have that problem here.

The sad part is that you think we are supposed to supplant season ticket holders so y'all can have a better seat. Any BUSINESS man could tell you that you don't mess with your base to satisfy the outside.

The sad part is that the part of my statement that you outlined ..... I saw YOU yourself ribbing SU fans as you walked into Memorial last year. You meant nothing violent about and people screamed back at you .... the way it should be. Nobody threatened to hurt you. That's the same thing we do here, except that you don't have that whole side to walk to and feel comfortable ... you gotta hit the corner and have some SENSE and get your damn tickets early like every other visiting fan who wants to come knows.

Why didnt you address the part about being fenced in with a shooting?
 
I know I'm not going. Especially after I saw that a security guard shot that dude. The first thing I thought was, "If their campus police shoot their own fans, what will they and the hostiles do to the opposing fans?" :scared:

And that's a scary sight. Thugs with a gun and a security badge. :scared:

You missed that story, MH? They posted the security guard picture and all with it last year. I thought he was a student with a part-time job as a security guard.

Probably because it's a stadium .... most are fenced in or have some type enclosure, like a HORSEHOE perhaps.

See, we, the fans inside the stadium, have little control over what happens outside.

That would be my guess for him not addressing it.

So are you saying that the shooting took place outside? Because when I read his statement, he said that he was fenced inside the endzone when someone started shooting. I didnt see where he said that it was outside.

No man. Neither of the incidents (1990) or the recent one were INSIDE the stadium. Don't you think you would have heard MORE of a rage from us that what you did? If he was in the endzone seating, he was fenced in, but the one in 1990 in the northern parking lot, OUTSIDE the stadium.

NO body is that stupid, yet.

Beans, the shooting involving the security guard did not take place inside the stadium.

I dont know SUJag79, I take it for granted that the ones that post on here are intelligent enough to just let their smack be words, but for other rowdy fans there......................If they say that they are going to kill us, I wouldnt be thinking that they are talking about the game.

Show me where GR said anything about a damn ticket. GR gets an ample amount of tickets for the SU game. GR could care less about that.

Come on man...stay on the subject. The proposal to bring the game to Jackson is a good business proposal. The other aspects are a bonus.

Nah man, You have to be a Jag to understand. We don't like FAMU at all. It goes way deeper than the JSU thing. But see their fans are just like ours. They aint sced and will roll up on you. We kindred spirits. But the strange thing is that nothing really pops off. But I remember they threw stuff at us(Jukebox) when we came into Bragg back in the 80s. Believe me aint no love lost between us two. But you would have to be a Snake and a Jag to understand that.


I think SU fans just like intimidating JSU fan in Mumford. FAMU fans relish it. LOL. Hell I had them talking isht me in Shoneys one year after the game and the place was full of Jags. But they do roll deep when they come to Mumford. It is a different kind of rivalry.

See JSU didn't give a damn about SU back in the 70s and 80s. SU was just a nice homecoming game for JSU. The Jukebox got much love in Jackson. It was all good. SU would put the score on the field and of course JSU would be winning and yall loved some SU. Remember back in the early 80s before I went to SU, I attended JSU games as a JSU fan. I would hear the JSU fans say, we like Southern......they bring a nice crowd......we get to whoop their arse and see their nice band. It was all good........well once SU started beating JSU regularly then all of a sudden JSU fans had no love for SU. It wasn't even a rivalry before hand except for the bands. But once SU fans had the audacity to talk isht when we started winning when Pete arrived. It became personal for yall. JSU folks were like damn we already had trouble with Grambling now SU done got good. Only difference was the Jag Nation who was already arrogant became even more so and had something to back it with. So the rivalry blossomed in the 90s. If JSU had done to SU what they had in the 70s and 80s these last 15 years then we wouldn't be talking about this. So to compare the SU vs JSU rivalry to SU and FAMU is not the same. SU and FAMU have hated each other since 1941.
