SEC Integration=SWAC "golden era gone"

I think it's moreso a lot more of this->

Some of these guys could have access to a Ferrarri but they'd break their neck trying to get @ the 1975 Gremlin. Now ain't that right ijuswannaknow? :emlaugh: Don't deserve to be called coach, guy.

Also, I'd think most aren't giving black student-athletes credit. Why deal w/ a bum, who's into "homeboy" "bruh" shit referring to themself as 'coach' :lol: when one can actually be coached up and given GREAT knowledge by a true professional who's mastered their craft? :swink:

no one addresses the "payouts" that helped kill the SWAC as those schools would employ a black from the community to broker the deal

that gets overlooked all the time as the brothas who broke the barriers wouldn't endure that hatred for free...

Are 'golden years' gone for Southwestern Athletic Conference?

At 76, Marino Casem's memory is fading. But there's one moment still vivid for the winningest football coach in Alcorn State University history.

"Bear Bryant," Casem said, "... and that year."

The year was 1970, when a blowout home loss to the University of Southern California left University of Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant no choice but to integrate his football team. http://www.clarionledger.com/articl...s++gone+for+Southwestern+Athletic+Conference?
