Scripture of the Day

Fortitude said:
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: F219 because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. 21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. -Isaiah 43:18-21

Thanks Fortitude!

I was wondering who was gonna pick up the ball and run with this. BTW, has anybody seen Jazz?

Can't you feel the healing?

Mal. 4:2
2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

That's a good one and definitely one to take heed to.

My calendar's Thought of the Day:

The great point is to never give up until the answer comes...
The great fault of the children of God is, they do not continue in prayer...they do not presevere.
If they desire anything for God's glory, they should pray until they get it.

Speak to the dry bones

Ezekiel 37
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. 4 ...Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. 5 ...Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live... 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Amen! and God Bless You!

This is a great scripture. Especially now in the time of the various storms that "seem" to be "destroying" people/things/places. This scripture just reminds me that God is able. No matter the problem or situation; He is able.

I wasn't thinking of the storm when I shared this scripture, but that God is able to breathe life into any dead thing or situation. We must speak life!!! What we speak is what we have. God hears us... Everything God "SPOKE" came to be & on the 7th day - he rested. :)

Thought of the Day:

In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without heart.

John Bunyan

Prayer:

Father, keep my heart soft this day & fill it with Your thoughts. Amen.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (James 1:12 KJV)

God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings. 1 Peter 4:10 TLB

Every talent that I have, You have given me Lord. May I have the wisdom to use these abilities to Your glory. Amen.

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. (Proverbs 4:25-27 KJV)

The Thought for Today is:

Put Your Faith in Christ----

Are you putting your faith in anyone or in anything other than Christ? If so, your faith is inadequate. It is the wrong kind of faith. To have the right kind of faith, the Bible gives the following steps:

You must admit your sinfulness and desire to turn from it. Jesus said, "Unless you repent you will all likewise perish" (Luke. 13:3).
You must believe that "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He rose again the third day" (1 Cor. 15:3-4).
You must trust in Jesus Christ alone as your personal Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." By an act of faith, by a deliberate choice, you must accept God's offer of salvation through His Son and be willing to let Him take control of your life.
The time to choose to trust in Christ, to make Him the object of your faith, is now. Paul wrote, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:2).

So ask yourself today, do you have the right kind of Faith. If not, put your Faith in Christ.
Have a Blessed Day!

The steadfast love of the Lord NEVER ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. Lam. 3:22-23 RSV

Jesus, thank You for Your unchanging love. Even if everyone else changes, I know that You will always be the same. Amen.

Absolutely one of my favorite scriptures of all time! "Brand New Mercies every morning!!!"

...for being saved is a gift; if a person could earn it by being good, then it wouldn't be free - but it is! ....God delclares sinners to be good in his sight if they have faith in Christ. Rom. 4:4,5 TLB

? Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith , because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. ?- 1 Peter 5:8-9

Ouch!!!

We carefully count others' offenses against us, but we rarely consider what others may suffer because of us.
